Clinical Study On The Effect Of Acupuncture On Postoperative Pain And Other Symptoms Of FESS

Abstract:The purpose:Observe the clinical effect of acupuncture on postoperative recovery of FESS patients,evaluate the degree of symptoms and signs changes in patients after 5 days of operation,explore the advantages of of acupuncture for the treatment and recovery of FESS patients.Enrich the postoperative diagnosis and treatment methods for FESS patients,and provide a unique way of traditional Chinese treatment for FESS patients with effective curative effect,safe use and simple operation.The method:According to the criteria of case inclus and exclus,80 patients of FESS patients diagnosed as chronic rhinosinusitis in ENT of Jiangsu Provincial Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine were selected.According to the cohort study method,80 patients were divided into two groups:the treatment group and the control group,40 cases in each group.The result showed no significant difference in gender,age,surgery,and main symptoms of two group by different analysis.All postoperative patients were treated with Anhydrous cefazolin sodium injection for anti-infection,ranexamic Acid and sodium chloride Injection for styptic,Eucalyptol,Limonene and Pinene Enteric Soft Capsules oral for mucolytic,Desloratadine Citrate Disodium Tablets oral for anti-inflammatory.The acupuncture points(Hegu,Yintang,Yingxiang,Zusanli)were added on the basis of the above treatment.Start 6 hours after surgery,once a day.Both groups of patients were treated for 5 days,and their daily clinical symptoms,signs,and adverse before and after treatme reactions were recorded.Everyday of treatment group and control group respectively to compare the clinical symptoms,signs which determine clinical curative effect of acupuncture on the clinical symptoms of the postoperative patients of FESS who diagnosed as chronic rhinosinusitis.All data were statistically analyzed by spss21.0 statistical software.The result:Through statistical analysis,the result iof this study show that the treatment group and the control group are effective to the clinical pain relif of Postoperative patients of FESS.The intra-group statistical analysis of pain of both group shows Significant statistical difference(p<0.01).The inter-group statistical analysis of pain of both group shows Significant statistical difference(p<0.01).The inter-group statistical analysis of secondary symptoms(dizziness,oozing and seepage,swelling),accompanying symptoms(dining and slumber)of both group shows Significant statistical difference(p<0.01).It indicated that the treatment group was better than the control group in the improvement of initial pain symptoms and the total cure rate of pain.In the early postoperative period,the improvement of dizziness,oozing and seepage,and poor dining and slumber symptoms of sputum was faster than that of the control group,indicating that acupuncture treatment is superior to the recovery of patients after FESS.The conclusion:The results of this study show that acupuncture can effectively relieve postoperative pain,dizziness,and slumber symptoms in patients after FESS.Its operation is simple,safe,and has the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine.It deserves further research and clinical promotion.
