Effects Of Gonadotropin-releasing Hormone Analogues Combined With Recombinant Human Growth Hormone On The Height Of Girls With Central Precocious Puberty And The Prediction Of Adult Height

Objective: To investigate the effect of gonadotropin-releasing hormone(GnRHa),recombinant human growth hormone(rhGh)and GnRHa alone on the height and related indicators of girls with idiopathic central precocious puberty(ICPP).Methods: Xinjiang medical university first affiliated hospital pediatric endocrine specialized subject confirmed to accord with research conditions of 49 cases ICPP girl(age,8.7 +/-0.5 years,bone age was 10.7 +/-0.5 years),according to the treatment is divided into GnRHa + rhGh group(26 cases)and GnRHa group(23 cases),two groups of GnRHa therapy should be used in the first half year,the second GnRHa + rhGh group rhGh used,GnRHa group continue to use GnRHa treatment.During the treatment,the bone age,height,secondary sexual characteristics of the patients were observed,and the changes of indexes such as predicted adult height,height growth(H)and predicted adult height growth(PAH)were calculated.Results: There were no statistically significant differences in bone age,height,and predicted adult height between the two groups in the first half year and the first year after treatment(P > 0.05),among which the latter half year height increase in GnRHa+rhGh group was significantly better than that in GnRHa group(P<0.05),and there was no statistically significant difference in predicting adult height increase between the two groups(P > 0.05).Mean value of height growth in the second half of GnRHa+rhGh group increased compared with that in the first half of the year,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Mean value of height growth(train H)in the second half of GnRHa group decreased compared with that in the first half of the year,and the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: GnRHa combined with rhGh was more effective than GnRHa alone in the treatment of ICCP girls,and nosignificant increase in bone age was observed,but it had no significant advantage in improving the prediction of adult height of girls.
