Objective:To understand the current situation of clinical nurses'work stress and burnout in the third-grade hospitals in Qiqihar City, and to analyze the relationship between occupational stress and burnout. To provide a scientific basis for reducing nurse burnout and improving the clinical nurse work environment and improving the quality of care services for clinical care managers. Methods:This study used a random sampling method to align 600 clinical nurses in three tertiary hospitals in Qihar City during the period from December 12 to 2018 in 2017.The method adopted in this survey is a self-filling scale and is filled out by anonymous. The self-designed nurse general data questionnaire, the Chinese nurse work stress source scale, and the burnout scale were used to measure the demographic characteristics of the clinical nurses, work stress, and burnout.Descriptive analysis,t-test,analysis of variance, correlation analysis(Pearson correlation),and multiple stepwise regression analysis were performed using statistical software SPSS24.0.Results:1.The current situation of clinical nurses'work stress and burnout in the third-grade hospitals in Qiqihar City:the total score of nurses'work stress source scale is(83.91±22.24),including nursing professional and work problems(2.58±0.32).Workload and time allocation issues(2.37±1.37)points,work environment and resources issues(2.26±0.82)points,patient care issues(2.46±0.08)points,management and interpersonal relationship issues(2.24±0.10)points.The average scores of the three dimensions of emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal achievement in the burnout scale were(23.75±12.06),(8.9±7.19),and(27.49±11.23)respectively.2.The results of different demographic characteristics on the work stress of clinical nurses are as follows:The differences in work stress of clinical nurses with different ages, education, monthly income, establishment and working years were statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of age,the 26-35 age group has the highest work pressure. The academic nurses with the academic qualifications have the highest work pressure. The clinical nurses with monthly income less than 2000 have the highest work pressure. The contract workers have higher work pressure than the editors. The lower the working years, the lower the work pressure the higher.3.The results of different demographic characteristics on clinical nurses'job burnout are as follows:In the emotional exhaustion dimension, there is no statistical difference in the scores of clinical nurses with different characteristics(P>0.05);in the depersonalized dimension, different ages and working years compiled were statistically significant(P<0.05).In terms of age and working years, the clinical nurses with ages of?25 years and working years of 6 to 10 years were significantly higher than other age groups. In the dimension of personal achievement, there is no statistical difference in all factors with different characteristics(P>0.05).4.In the three dimensions of burnout, the emotional exhaustion dimension and the five aspects of work stress were significantly positively correlated(P<0.05);the problem of depersonalization and patient care, management and interpersonal relationship were positive.Correlation(P<0.05);low sense of accomplishment was positively correlated with nursing and work problems, time allocation and workload problems, and patient care issues(P<0.05).In the correlation with the total score of work stress, the feeling of emotional exhaustion was positively correlated with low job satisfaction and work stress(P<0.05),but the correlation between depersonalization and work stress was not statistically significant(P>0.05).5.The workload and time allocation of work stress, work environment and resources issues significantly predicted the emotional exhaustion of burnout(R~2=0.066F=38.656,P<0.001)and the depersonalization dimension(R~2=0.025 F=8.691,P<0.001);Nursing professional and work problems significantly predicted the individual achievement dimension(R~2=0.018 F=11.767,P<0.001).Conclusion:1.The greatest occupational stress of clinical nurses comes from patient care.In addition, management and interpersonal relationships are potential sources of stress.2.Clinical nurses have a higher degree of job burnout.3.Job stress is positively correlated with job burnout.4.Among the dimensions of job stress, work environment and resources, nursing specialty and work are the main correlative factors of job burnout.
