ObjectiveOn the basis of fully understanding and summarizing the domestic and international health status research of professional women,this study investigated and collected physical examination data of professional women in Lanzhou,analyzed the possible causes affecting their health status,summarized the health problems faced by professional women,and probed into finding some targeted preventive measures to improve the health status and the quality of life of professional women.MethodsOn the basis of literature review,the health status of occupational women in a physical examination center of a hospital in Lanzhou was analyzed,and the health status of occupational women of different ages and different working nature was analyzed according to the characteristics of the subjects.Epidata 3.0 was used to build database and double entry data,and SPSS 21.0 was used for statistical analysis.Quantitative data were compared by variance analysis,and chi square test was used to compare qualitative data among groups.Results1.Health Status of professional women: A total of 602 professional women were enrolled in this study,with an average age of 41.30 ± 8.58 years old.The abnormal rate of BMI and renal function were higher than other indicators.The professional women had an average BMI of 22.33±3.18 kg/m and the overall abnormal rate of BMI was 33.92%.The average values of urea,creatinine and uric acid were 4.18±1.08umol/L,57.36±9.00 umol/L and 271.91±62.96 umol/L,respectively.The abnormal creatinine was highest with a detection rate of 31.99%.2.Health status of professional women with different ages: BMI results of women of different age groups showed that people over 50 years old had the highest BMI of 22.96 ±3.01 kg/m2.The results of blood pressure,blood glucose and blood lipid in women of different age groups showed that systolic blood pressure,diastolic blood pressure,fasting blood glucose level,total cholesterol,triglyceride and low density lipoprotein all increased with age.The people over 50 years old had the highest mean value and abnormal rates of all indicators(P<0.05).The abnormal rate of blood pressure was more than 10%,the abnormal rate of blood glucose was 8.99%,and the abnormal rate of total cholesterol was 7.87%.3.Health status of women in different professional types: In addition to BMI and renal function,the systolic blood pressure,fasting blood glucose and low density lipoprotein of women in enterprises were higher than those of women in organizations and schools(P<0.05),the mean of red blood cell count and liver function were lower than those of women in organs and teachers(P<0.05).Conclusions1.Overall,the professional women in Lanzhou City have a better health status with the average of all indicators in a normal range.However,it is worth noting that the professional women have a higher abnormal rate of BMI and kidney function,and blood pressure,blood sugar and blood lipid need to be continuously monitored.2.Age and organization have an important impact on the health of professional women.Employers and all sectors of society should focus on the health status of professional women over the age of 50 and working in enterprises.
