| Objectives: This research is designed to investigate the current situation of job satisfaction of medical staff in a certain traditional Chinese medicine hospital in Xinjiang,establish a perfect investigation and research system and analyze the research results and propose corresponding measures to improve the job satisfaction of medical staff in Chinese medicine hospitals,and play a reference role in preventing the loss of medical staff in Chinese medicine hospitals.Methods: a questionnaire survey was conducted on 325 medical staff in a certain hospital of traditional Chinese medicine in Xinjiang by literature analysis,and the total job satisfaction of medical staff and the satisfaction degree of each dimension index were investigated by using Likert5 grade score method.A variety of statistical methods were used to verify the rationality and scientific nature of the results.Results: 1.The overall job satisfaction score of medical staff in a Chinese medicine hospital in Xinjiang is 3.86±0.60,which is in a satisfactory level.Among the six different dimensions that constitute the job satisfaction of medical staff,the lowest level of satisfaction is the satisfaction of the practicing environment,and its score is 3.60±0.80.The highest level of satisfaction is the satisfaction of TCM medical evaluation,with a score of 3.98±0.68.2.There are significant differences in the satisfaction and overall satisfaction of medical staff with different demographic characteristics in different dimensions: the satisfaction of nurses is higher than that of doctors,the satisfaction of medical staff in traditional Chinese medicine and nursing is generally higher than that of clinical profession of Western medicine,the satisfaction of surgical medical staff is the highest,while that of emergency and critical care department and gynecological medical staff is the highest.The satisfaction of medical staff in 30-39 years old is the lowest,the satisfaction of medical staff with secondary technical education is the highest,the satisfaction of medical staff with master’s degree is the lowest,the satisfaction of medical staff with senior professional title is the highest,and the satisfaction of junior professional title is the lowest.The satisfaction degree of medical staff with positions is higher than that of those without positions.Satisfaction of medical staff over 30 years of service is the highest,and that of medical staff over 6-10 years of service is the lowest.Satisfaction of medical staff working within 40 hours per week is higher than that of medical staff working more than 40 hours per week.3.Through the analysis of the influencing factors of medical staff’s job satisfaction,the results show that the factors of department 2(surgery),occupation,position,specialty 1(clinical specialty of Western medicine)have significant influence on the overall job satisfaction of medical staff,among which the two factors of department and occupation have a positive effect on the overall job satisfaction.The impact,while the position and profession have a negative impact.Conclusion: The job satisfaction of the medical staff in the hospital was moderately high.Due to the different demographic characteristics of the medical staff being investigated,affected by the internal subjective factors and external objective factors,the medical staff’s job satisfaction is constantly changing.It is recommended that the hospital create a harmonious Work environment,improve the welfare and subsidy compensation system for medical staff,improve the hospital management system,and improve the job satisfaction of medical staff. |
