The Analysis Of Traditional Chinese Medicine Syndromes And Tongue Signs Of Children Cough Variant Asthma

Objective:The analysis of the distribution of traditional chinese medicine syndromes and tongue syndrome in cough variant asthma(CVA)by clinical case observation will provide reference for clinical syndrome differentiation and prevention.Method:On the basis of reading literature and combining with the clinical features of 210 CVA children cases,the clinical questionnaire was developed.And the database of TCM syndromes and tongue images was established to analyze the data by the SPSS 19.0 statistical software.And then the regularities of distribution of traditional chinese medicine syndromes and tongue syndrome in children CVA.Results:1.The red tongue was more than others in the wind-heat invading lung syndrome,accounting for 48 cases(96.00%),and the reddish tongue was most in the wind-cold invading lung syndrome,accounting for 45 cases(95.74%),and there were 21 cases(52.50%)of reddish tongue and 18 cases(45.00%)of red tongue in the phlegm obstructing lung syndrome,38 cases(52.05%)of reddish tongue and 34 cases(46.58%)of red tongue in the spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome;2.There were 8 cases(53.33%)of old tongue in the wind-heat invading lung syndrome,19 cases(70.37%)of tender tongue in the spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome,10 cases(66.67%)of plump tongue in the phlegm obstructing lung syndrome,6 cases(31.58%)of thin tongue in both of the wind-cold invading lung syndrome and the spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome,14 cases(58.33%)of cracked tongue and 14 cases(37.84%)of spotting tongue in the spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome;3.The white tongue fur was in majority,accounting for 46 cases(21.90%)in the wind-cold invading lung syndrome,and there were 32 cases(15.24%)of yellow tongue fur and 15 cases(7.14%)of white tongue fur in the wind-heat invading lung syndrome,32 cases(15.24%)of white tongue fur in the phlegm obstructing lung syndrome,59 cases(28.10%)of white tongue fur and 12 cases(5.71%)of yellow tongue fur in the spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome;4.There were 16 cases(7.62%)of thin moss and 8 cases(3.81%)of thick moss in the wind-cold invading lung syndrome,16 cases(7.62%)of thin moss and 10 cases(4.76%)of greasy moss in the wind-heat invading lung syndrome,14 cases(6.67%)of greasy moss and 6 cases(2.86%)of slippery moss in the phlegm obstructing lung syndrome,11 cases(5.24%)of thin-stripped moss,10 cases(4.76%)of greasy-stripped moss and 9 cases(4.29%)of peeling-stripped moss in the spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome.Conclusion:In this study,we can conclude that the wind-cold invading lung syndrome is mainly characterized by reddish tongue,thin,white moss and thin tongue;The wind-heat invading lung syndrome is mainly characterized by red tongue,thin,yellow moss and old tongue;The phlegm obstructing lung syndrome is mainly composed of reddish tongue or red tongue,white moss,greasy tongue and plump tongue;The spleen and kidney deficiency syndrome is mainly composed of reddish tongue or red tongue,white moss,thin-stripped moss,greasy-stripped moss and peeling-stripped moss.Tender tongue,spotting tongue,thin tongue and crack tongue can also be found in this stype.
