Effect Of Tangshen Enema Prescription On Stage Ⅲ Diabetic Nephropathy And Its Effect On Serum TGF-β1

Objective: To observe the clinical efficacy of Tangshen enema prescription on stage Ⅲ diabetic nephropathy(spleen-kidney Qi deficiency syndrome)and its effect on the level of renal fibrosis factor TGF-β1.Methods: According to the method of random digital envelope,66 patients with diabetic nephropathy stage Ⅲ were randomly divided into control group and experimental group,33 cases in each group.The control group was given basic treatment,namely basic hypoglycemia combined with benazepril oral administration.The experimental group was given Tangshen enema on the basis of the control group for 28 days.The scores of traditional Chinese medicine symptoms of the two groups before and after the treatment were evaluated.The levels of urinary microalbumin/creatinine,urinary microalbumin,serum creatinine,cystatin C,β2microglobulin,triglyceride,total cholesterol,low density lipoprotein,fasting blood glucose and serum TGF-β1 were analyzed.Results: Before administration,there was no difference in baseline data between the experimental group and the control group(P <0.05);after administration,the level of urinary microalbumin/creatinine in the experimental group and the control group decreased compared with that before administration(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).The level of urinary microalbumin in the experimental group decreased compared with that before treatment(P < 0.05),while the level of urinary microalbumin in the control group had no significant difference compared with that before administration(P > 0.05);The levels of serum creatinine,fasting blood glucose and triglyceride in the experimental group were lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).The levels of cystatin C,β2 microglobulin,total cholesterol and low density lipoprotein in the two groups were higher than those in the control group(P < 0.05 or P < 0.01).There was no significant change before treatment(P > 0.05).There was no significant difference in the above indexes between the two groups afteradministration.After administration,the level of TGF-β1 in the experimental group was lower than that in the control group(P < 0.01).Conclusion: Tangshen Enema Prescription can improve clinical symptoms,reduce urinary microalbumin/creatinine level,reduce serum TGF-β1 level,and delay the process of renal fibrosis in diabetic nephropathy.
