Clinical Study On Effect Of Penetration Needling Method Combine With Deep-Straight Needling Method On Cervical Vertigo (Deficiency Of Liver-Yin And Kidney-Yin)

Objective: To study the clinical efficacy of penetration needling method combine with deep-straight needling method in the treatment of cervical vertigo(deficiency of liver-yin and kidney-yin).Methods: According to the random double-blind group princle,72 patients who presented in department of acupuncture and moxibustion of Affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of Traditional Chinese Medicine were divided into 36 cases in treatment group and control group.All patients in treatment group were operated with Penetration needling method combine with deep-straight needling method once for a day for 2 weeks for a course of treatment,a total of 2 courses and 2 days break for each course.In the mean while patients in control group will take the Flunarizine as dose of 5-10 mg every night before bed for 2 courses of the treatment for 4 weeks.There were 67 patients had actually completed the treatment,2 patients of treatment group and 3 of control group had dropped off after the experiment.The curative effect would be evaluated by Vertigo Syndrome Scale(VSS-C)and Clinical assessment scale for cervical spondylosis(CASCS)and TCM Clinical Symptomatic Grading and Quantifying standards.Besides one month after the whole course finished each patient would be evaluated by CASCS as a follow-up record.Results: After 2 courses of treatment,the VSS-C and CASCS and TCM Clinical Symptomatic Grading and Quantifying standards all turn to be better than before,there was no significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05).However,the clinical symptoms in CASCS of treatment group was significantly better more than control group(P<0.01).Furthermore,one month after the experiment,the VSS-C and CASCS of treatment group still had a significant difference than before(P<0.05)and control group(P<0.05).The results show that the penetration needling method combine with deep-straight needling method has a same effect as the Flunarizine on cervical vertigo.Besides,the treatment group has a lower recurrence rate after one month.Conclusion: The penetration needling method combine with deep-straight needling method has a satisfactory clinical effect in the treatment of cervical vertigo.This method can relive muscle tension and the effect can be maintained for a period of time.
