ObjectiveThrough the questionnaire survey of nursing undergraduate interns,understand the willingness of nursing undergraduates before and after internship,analyze the influencing factors,put forward suggestions and countermeasures for nursing education,especially clinical nursing teaching,and improve and optimize school internship and employment.It also provides reference for the teaching hospital to improve the clinical teaching system,improve the clinical practice content and methods of nursing students,improve the quality of clinical nursing staff and the selection of clinical teaching teachers.MethodsA convenient sampling method was used to conduct a questionnaire survey on the nursing undergraduate interns of the two top three hospitals in Yangtze University and Jingzhou.The questionnaires and consultation experts were repeatedly revised to design the“Nursing Undergraduate Nursing Practices Willingness Questionnaire”.The questionnaire included the general information of the respondents,the willingness to care,the employment guidance support,the internship,and the open topic..Before the internship and in the post-internship period,192 questionnaires were distributed respectively.The combination of on-site paper survey and questionnaire star survey was used.189 questionnaires were effectively recovered before the internship,and 183 valid questionnaires were collected after the internship.The data analysis was performed using SPSS22.0 software.Results1.General information of the respondents:Among the 189 respondents,179(94.7%)were female and 10(5.3%)were male.The ethnic group is mainly Han(89.4%),the family is mainly in rural areas(61.9%),60.8%of the nursing students are non-only children,and 95.2%of the nursing parents have nothing to do with medical care.Household income is mainly moderate(41.8%)compared to local income level.The main reason for attending nursing major is good employment prospects(37.0%).2.The proportion of people who are willing to engage in clinical nursing before and after the internship is 66.1%and 61.7%respectively.The proportion of those who are unwilling to engage in clinical nursing before and after the internship are 3.2%and 8.2%respectively.The proportion of unwillingness after internship increases,and the difference is statistically significant(?~2=4.403,P=0.036).3.Before the internship,the degree of affection of the nursing profession was higher than that of the newly entered school.There was a statistically significant difference(Z=-3.837,P=0.000).After the internship,the proportion of the nursing profession was very low.The difference was statistically significant.(?~2=4.878,P=0.027).4.The proportion of clinical nursing students who intend to graduate after graduation is 64.0%and 60.7%respectively.5.The main reason for being willing to engage in clinical care before and after the internship is that the work is stable.The main reason for not being willing to engage in clinical nursing work before the internship is that there is a certain risk in the work(60.3%).The main reason for not being willing to engage in clinical nursing after the internship is the high work pressure(61.7%).6.After the internship,the proportion of preferred workplaces in large cities was reduced,the proportion of small and medium-sized cities increased,the number of small and medium-sized cities increased,and the proportion of urban and rural towns increased.The difference of preferred workplaces before and after internship was statistically significant(P?0.05).7.The satisfaction rate of undergraduate nursing students'employment guidance before and after the internship was 69.3%and 64.5%respectively.8.During the internship,77.6%of the hospitals/teachers who had conducted employment guidance.9.The respondents believe that the most important influence on the willingness to care in the practice hospital,teaching teacher,nursing management,medical staff,patients,personal situation,and school dimensions is the hospital care atmosphere(73.8%),professional teacher Attitude(79.2%),safety system(74.3%),attitude of medical staff to nurses and nursing students(74.3%),relationship between nursing students and patients(71.0%),personal experience and feelings during internship(69.4%),school Effective communication with the internship hospital(61.2%).10.Through logistic regression analysis,the degree of love for the nursing profession,the expected initial monthly salary,the satisfaction with the employment guidance of the school,the professional attitude of the teacher,the organization management,and the internship are the willingness of nursing undergraduates.Influencing factors.Conclusion1.The willingness of clinical nursing practice before and after nursing internship needs to be strengthened.The proportion of unwilling to engage in clinical nursing work after internship is higher than that before the internship.2.The influencing factors of nursing undergraduates'willingness to practice include the degree of love for the nursing profession in the later stage of the internship,the expected initial monthly salary,the satisfaction with the employment guidance of the school,the professional attitude of the teacher,the organization management,and the internship harvest.aspect.3.The society should guarantee a safe and stable medical environment;the school should comprehensively carry out employment guidance and career planning,improve the hands-on practical ability of nursing students,combine pre-internship job training with clinical apprenticeship,and focus on stimulating the professional pride of nursing students;The hospital needs to strengthen the practice of internship to teach organizational management,attach importance to the selection of teachers and professional attitudes,improve the internship of nursing students and enhance the nursing practitioners'confidence in nursing,and pay attention to the mental health of nursing students;Work together to improve the willingness to care for undergraduate nursing students.
