A Clinical Study Of Synergy Effect Of Acupuncture Ghost Points Combined With Local Warm Needling Method In The Treatment Of Depression Of Heart-spleen Deficiency Syndrome Type

PurposeTo make objective evaluation of the differences of curative effects and side effects between acupuncture ghost points combined with local warm needling method and orally-taken western medicine method in the treatment of depression of heart-spleen deficiency syndrome type,in order to provide a reference for optimizing the treatment scheme of depression in clinical practice.MethodsPatients with 66 cases that met the criteria were divided into the treatment group and the control group randomly,each with 33 cases.The treatment group was treated with acupuncture ghost points combined with local warm needling method,while the control group was treated with oral administration of fluoxertine hydrochloride(20mg,once a day).The treatment group was treated once a day,10 times for a course of treatment,each treatment interval of 2 days,a total of 3 courses.While there was no interval in the control group(continuous medication).Respectively record the scores of Hamilton depression scale(HAMD),TCM syndromes scale before,after first,second and the end of the period of treatment,also record the scores of Rating scale for side effects(SERS)after the treatment.At last,to evaluate the clinical efficacy for the two groups of patients.Results1.As for the total effective rate,the treatment group was 93.33%,while the control group was 74.19%.The total effective rate of the treatment group was significantly higherthan that of the control group(P<0.05).2.HAMD and TCM syndromes scale comparison:comparison between groups:the difference between the two groups before the treatment was no significant(P>0.05),which shows comparable.The difference after the treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).Comparison in the group:the difference in both groups before and after the treatment was statistically significant(P<0.05).The difference between the two groups of the HAMD reductive ratio after the treatment was statistically significant,P<0.05.in terms of the curative effect of the degree of depression and TCM symptoms comparison,the effective rate of the treatment group in the third course was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05),but in the first and second course,there was no significant difference(P>0.05).3.SERS comparison:after the treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant between the two groups.4.HAMD symptom scores comparison:as the scores of sleep disorders,anxiety symptoms,gastrointestinal symptoms and constitutional symptoms,within-the group comparison:before and after the treatment,there was statistically significant difference in the treatment group(P<0.05),and no significant difference(P>0.05)in the control group.But in the control group of constitutional symptoms scores(the symptoms include heaviness of limbs,back and neck,backache,headache,myalgia,generalized weakness and easily fatigue.),the difference was statistically(P<0.05).Comparison between groups:the difference between the two groups before the treatment was no significant(P>0.05).After the treatment,the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion1.Both treatment methods were effective in the treatment of depression,but in terms of total efficiency,acupuncture ghost points combined with local warm needling method was significantly better than orally-taken western medicine method.2.Both treatment methods were effective in the treatment of the improvement of depression and TCM symptoms,acupuncture ghost points combined with local warm needling method was significantly better than orally-taken western medicine method.3.Orally-taken fluoxertine hydrochloride method could improve the symptoms ofbodily pain and generalized weakness after the treatment,but because of the side effect of drug,it had no obviously efficacy for the symptoms of sleep disorders,anxiety symptoms and gastrointestinal symptoms.Conversely,acupuncture ghost points combined with local warm needling method not only had fewer side effect and also could improve the above symptoms.Which reflected the superiority of acupuncture method.4.To treat depression of heart-spleen deficiency syndrome type,acupuncture ghost points combined with local warm needling method is safe and effective,worthy of further study.
