| Objective: To investigate the pregnancy outcome of twin pregnancy complicated with preeclampsia by assisted reproductive technology and natural conception.Method:To collect the first affiliated hospital of xinjiang medical university hospital childbirth twins clinical data of pregnant women,386 cases of assisted reproductive technology conceive twins, naturally conceived twins in 1053 cases, assisted reproductive technology conceived twins 87 cases complicated with preeclampsia group(ART),naturally conceived twins 178 cases complicated with preeclampsia group(87 cases for natural conception),two groups of pregnant women were retrospectively analyzed general information, pregnancy complications, and perinatal outcomes. Results: The incidence of preeclampsia in assisted reproduction pregnant twins was higher than that in naturally conceived twins, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).When complicated with preeclampsia, there was no significant difference in the incidence of severe preeclampsia between the two groups(P >0.05).The average age of pregnant women in the ART group, older pregnant women(age ≥35 years),proportion of first mothers, completion rate of regular prenatal examination and cesarean section rate were all higher than those in the natural conception group, but the differences were not statistically significant. The incidence of preterm delivery, placenta previa and postpartum hemorrhage in the ART group was higher than that in the natural conception group, and the difference was statistically significant(P< 0.05).The average weight and gestational age of newborns in the ART group were lower than those in the natural conception group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).There was no significant difference between the two groups in such aspects as placental abruption, amniotic fluid hypertrophy, neonatal asphyxia, infants smaller than gestational age,and neonatal transfer rate. Conclusion: Compared with the naturally conceived twins, preeclampsia is more common in the ART twins. When combined with preeclampsia, the incidence of severe preeclampsia in the ART group was not significantly different from that in the natural pregnancy group. The risk of preterm birth, postpartum hemorrhage, placenta previa, and low birth weight was higher, but there was no significant difference in short-term neonatal outcome between the two groups. |
