ObjectiveTo evaluate the value of conventional magnetic resonance imaging combined with magnetic sensitivity weighted imaging in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of ocular lesionsMaterials and methodsForty-six patients with common inraocular lesions were retrospectively analyzed. All patients underwent conventional magnetic resonance imaging(MRI).15 cases were choroidal melanoma,6 cases were choroidal hemangioma,10 cases were fundus hemorrhage and 15 cases were retinal detachment.37 cases of intraocular lesion were underwent conventional MRI and SWI sequence before operation and treatment, including 5 cases of choroidal melanoma,10 cases of retinoblastoma,4 cases of Hemangioma,18 cases of retinal detachment or complicated hemorrhage.the results of conventional MRI imaging and conventional MRI combined with SWI were analysed by two imaging doctors, and compared with pathological results. The features of choroidal melanoma, choroidal hemangioma, fundus hemorrhage and retinal detachment were obtained by variance analysis.?Chi-square test and Fisher exact test. The coincidence rate between conventional MRI imaging and conventional MRI combined with SWI was obtained with Kappa test and McNemar test. The consistency between observer A and B was analyzed with kappa test.Results1.By kappa consistency test, the coincidence rate of SWI was 88.9%for calcification components of intraocular lesions and 99.9%for intraocular hemorrhage.2.By kappa test, compared with each other, the consistency between A and B in the diagnosis of intraocular lesions by conventional MRI was better(k = 0.754,p<0.001),the positive rate of observer A was 64.9%,and the positive rate of observer B was 70.3%,there was no significant difference between the two groups(p<0.625).By kappa test, the consistency between observers A and B in conventional MRI combined with SWI was commonly(k = 0.471,P = 0.004),the positive rate of observer A was 91.2%,and the positive rate of observer B diagnosis was 94.6%,and there was no significant difference between the two groups(p<0.05).3.By means of kappa test and Mcnemar test, the diagnostic results of conventional MRI imaging and conventional MRI combined with SWI imaging in the diagnosis of intraocular lesions was poor(kappa=0.140,p=0.096).The positive rate of conventional MRI combined with SWI was 97.3%.The positive rate of MRI was significantly higher than that of routine conventional MRI positive rate(73.0%),and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.004).4.MRI signal.?form and MRI enhancement of different inraocular lesions had certain characteristics.Choroidal melanoma has low signal intensity in T2WI,high signal intensity in T1WI,"mushroom" form and obvious enhancement. The retinal hemorrhage has low signal in T2WI,high signal in T1WI,stripe formation form and no obvious enhancement.choroidal hemangioma hsa high signal intensity in T2WI?slightly high signal in T1WI and showed obviously enhanced.Choroidal detachment shas high signal intensity in T2WI,and slightly high signal intensity in T1WI,and v"formation and not obvisously enhanced.Conclusion3.0T MRI plays an important role in the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of common lesions in the eyeball. The diagnostic efficiency of conventional MRI combined with SWI in the diagnosis of intraocular lesions was significantly higher than that of conventional MRI imaging.
