| Objective:To provide effective reference for clinical nursing staff to take measures to reduce the negative emotions of family members, investigation was conducted, including the development status of disease uncertainty, social support and anxiety in family members of gynecological tumor patients;the differences in general demographic characteristics among patients’ family members’ disease uncertainty, social support and anxiety;the relationship among patients’ family members’ disease uncertainty, social support and anxiety. Methods:In this study,a convenient sampling method was used to extract the families of patients who met the inclusion and exclusion criteria during the operation of gynecological tumors in a Grade A hospital in Yanji City.A total of 270 questionnaires were sent,267 copies were recovered,259 valid questionnaires were obtained, the effective recover rate was 95.9%.In the questionnaires survey,a self-made general status questionnaires,a Chinese version of Uncertainty in Illness Scale for Family Member(MUIS-FM),the Social Support Rating Scale(SSRS),and the State Anxiety Scale(S-AI)were adopted. After the questionnaires were retrieved,it was sorted in an Excel spreadsheet, and analyzed using SPSS 17.0 statistical software. The statistical methods includes statistical description,t-test,analysis of variance or non-parametric test,Pearson correlation analysis, multiple linear regression analysis and so on.Results:(1)The total score of 259 patients’ family members of disease uncertainty ranged from(31~155),and the average score was(87.58±7.13).The level of uncertainty in family disease is at a moderate level. The average scores of the four dimensions were:unpredictable(3.29 ±0.32)points,ambiguity(3.01 ±0.16)points,complexity(2.10±0.23)points,and lack of information(3.26±0.35)points.Family disease uncertainty and family age, occupational status, education level, relationship with patients, place of residence, preoperative diagnosis, family monthly average income, payment methods(P<0.05).(2)The total score of social support for family members of 259 patients was(12~66)points,the score was(36.57±10.19)points,and the social support of family members was at the upper-middle level. The average scores of the three dimensions were:subjective support(5.03±1.10)points,objective support(3.14±1.05)points,and utilization(2.34±0.89)points.There was a difference among the family support, the occupational status, education level, place of residence, family monthly income, and payment method(P<0.05).(3)The total score of anxiety of family members of 259 patients was(20~80)points,the score was(62.82±6.05)points,and the anxiety level of family members was moderate anxiety. The average anxiety score was(3.14 ± 0.30)points.There is a difference among family anxiety and age, gender, education level, relationship with patients, preoperative diagnosis, operation time, family monthly income, and payment method(P<0.05).(4)There was a negative correlation between the family’s disease uncertainty and social support(P<0.05);family members’ disease uncertainty and anxiety were positively correlated(P<0.05);family members’ social support and anxiety were negatively correlated(P<0.05).(5)The multivariate linear regression of family anxiety was calculated:the degree of education, subjective support, lack of information, unpredictable and objective support variables are the main influencing factors of intraoperative anxiety in the families of gynecologic cancer patients.Conclusions:(1)The level of uncertainty of intraoperative disease in the family members of gynecologic oncology patients is moderate. The social support of the family members of gynecologic oncology patients is at upper-middle level. The anxiety level of family members of gynecologic oncology patients is moderate anxiety.(2)The demographic characteristics of family age, occupational status, education level, patient patients, place of residence, preoperative diagnosis of patients, monthly household income, payment methods and other factors have an impact on the uncertainty of the disease;family status and education level, residence, family monthly income, payment methods have an impact on social support;family age, gender, education level, patient patients, patient age, preoperative diagnosis, surgery time, family monthly income, payment methods, etc.Factors have an impact on anxiety.(3)The uncertainty of family members’ disease is negatively correlated with social support;family members’ disease uncertainty is positively correlated with anxiety;family members’ social support is negatively correlated with anxiety. The results of multiple linear regression analysis of family anxiety showed that factors such as education level, subjective support, lack of information, unpredictability, objective support were related. |
