Clinical Observation Of Qingwen Baidu Yin Granule In The Treatment Of Kawasaki Disease

ObjectiveTo evaluate the recovery of Chinese medicine syndromes,laboratory inflammatory markers and follow-up coronary artery lesions through the application of Qingwen Baidu Yin Granule combined with Intravenous immunoglobulin in the treatment of children with kawasaki disease(qi-nutrient blazing pattern).To observe the clinical efficacy and safety of combined traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of kawasaki disease,and to study the advantages of combined traditional Chinese and western medicine in the treatment of kawasaki disease.To provide clinical basis for the treatment of kawasaki disease with the combination of traditional Chinese and western medicine,and to optimize the treatment of kawasaki disease in children.Methods102 Kawasaki disease cases in children admitted to our hospital from April 2017 to July 2017 were collected.60 cases accordancing with the inclusion criteria were retrospectively studied and randomly divided into two groups: experimental group and control group,with 30 cases in each group.The experimental group was treated with Qingwen Baidu Yin Granule combined with intravenous immunoglobulin,while the control group was only treated with intravenous immunoglobulin.The gender,name,age,fever,conjunctival congestion,rash,hand and foot swelling,lip changes,lymph node enlargement and laboratory inflammatory markers were recorded in detail.The clinical symptom score,laboratory inflammatory markers changes and the incidence of coronary artery lesions by follow-up for one year of patients in two groups were observed before treatment and one week after treatment.Results1.1 Efficacy evaluationIn experimental group,24 cases were markedly effective,5 cases were improved,1 case was ineffective,the total effective rate was 96.67%.The control group was markedly effective in 21 cases,effective in 6 cases,and invalid in 2cases,the total effective rate was 90.00%.There was no significant difference in the efficacy between the two groups in the treatment of Kawasaki disease.1.2 Clinical syndrome scoreBefore treatment,there were no significant differences in the clinical syndrome score between the two groups in terms of fever,conjunctival hyperemia,mucosal changes,rash,changes in limbs,and lymph node enlargement.After treatment,the clinical symptom scores of both groups decreased.In addition,the mucosal changes,limb changes and lymphadenopathy were significantly improved in the experimental group except fever,conjunctival hyperemia and rash symptoms,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant.1.3 Recovery of laboratory indicatorsBefore treatment,the peripheral blood laboratory indicators of WBC,PLT,CRP,PCT and ESR in children with KD were significantly increased,and the difference was not statistically significant between the experimental group and the control group.After treatment,the two groups of laboratory indicators WBC,PLT,CRP,PCT,ESR decreased significantly;Moreover,compared with the control group,ESR was decreased significantly in the experimental group,P <0.05,the difference was statistically significant.There were no statistically significant differences in the other indicators between the two groups.1.4 follow-upAt the first week of follow-up,a new patient with coronary artery lesion was occurred in the experimental group,2 cases of new coronary artery lesions patients in the control group.There was no significant difference in the incidence of coronary artery lesions between the two groups.There were no recurrences in the two groups during the follow-up period of1 year.ConclusionsQingwen Baidu Yin Granule combined with Intravenous immunoglobulin in the treatment of children with Kawasaki disease(qi-nutrient blazing pattern)can relieve clinical symptoms in a short period of time,reduce the pain of children,and it is safe and reliable.It is worth promoting and further research.
