Objective:To investigate the related factors affecting facial nerve function after microsurgical treatment of acoustic neuroma, and to analyze the results to improve the effect of microsurgical treatment of acoustic neuroma. Methods:The clinical data of 58 patients with acoustic neuroma admitted to the department of neurosurgery of the First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi Medical University from January 2017 to August 2018 were reviewed.General information of each patient, cranial MRI plain scan + enhancement, cranial CT,temporal bone thin slice CT,histopathological data, and surgical data were included.Postoperative follow-up evaluation and analysis were conducted according to house-brackmann facial nerve function grading standard(H-B grading). The collected data were statistically analyzed, and P < 0.05 was considered statistically significant. Results:The study collected 58 patients with acoustic neuroma microsurgery treatment, all patients were the pillow under-after the sigmoid sinus approach acoustic neuroma resection under a microscope, the single factor statistical analysis of acoustic neuroma microsurgery treatment causes facial nerve dysfunction related factors include age, gender, the real nature of the tumor, longduration time, tumor size and tumor resection. After statistical examination and analysis of various factors,it was concluded that the tumor diameter and tumor resection degree were statistically significant for facial nerve function after acoustic neuroma surgery. Conclusion:The diameter of acoustic neuroma tumor and the degree of tumor resection were related factors affecting the postoperative facial nerve function. The larger the tumor, the cleaner the resection, and the greater the postoperative facial nerve function damage. The surgeon's surgical proficiency and familiarity with the anatomy of the CPA area will contribute to the treatment of auditory nerve tumors.
