Objective:To analyze and compare the therapeutic effects of different treatment regimens for oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma(OSCC),and to provide reference for the treatment options of OSCC.Methods:The clinical data of 154 patients with OSCC(tonsillar squamous cell carcinoma and tongue root squamous cell carcinoma)who were admitted to the Second Clinical Hospital of Jilin University from 2010 to2016 were collected.According to the TNM staging system of pharynx tumor in 2010 NCCN Head and Neck Cancer Clinical Practice Guide. The TNM staging system of pharyngeal tumors was performed in TNM staging.Patients were divided into surgery group, radiotherapy group, surgical plus radiotherapy group, surgery plus chemoradiotherapy group and chemoradiotherapy group according to the patient's case data.The3-year overall survival rates and local control rates of each group were compared and analyzed with SPSS software. Results:A total of 154 patients with OSCC(92 cases of tonsillar squamouscell carcinoma and 62 cases of tongue squamous cell carcinoma)were included in the study, including 104 males and 50 females, with a male to female ratio of 2.1:1 and an average age of onset of 56.7 years. The median follow-up period was 58 months. The follow-up results were 111 patients with survival,34 patients died,25 patients had recurrence, and 9patients were lost to follow-up.The 3-year overall survival rates and local control rates of 145 OSCC patients with complete follow-up data were76.6% and 82.0%,respectively.The 3-year overall survival rates and local control rates of early OSCC were 81.0% and 82.4%,respectively.The3-year overall survival rates and local control rates of advanced OSCC were 74.8% and 81.8%,respectively.The 3-year overall survival rates was87.5%,81.3%,100%,80.0% and 72.7%,respectively,in the early OSCC surgery group,Chemoradiotherapy group, surgery plus chemoradiotherapy group, surgery plus radiotherapy group, radiotherapy group, and the local control rates was 71.4%,84.6%,100%,75.0% and87.5%,respectively.The 3-year overall survival rates were 53.8%,83.9%,75.0%,66.7%,50.0%,and local control rates were 71.4%,87.2%,80.0%,75.0%,and 50.0%,respectively.Conclusion:FOR early OSCC surgery and radiotherapy are equivalent, adding chemotherapy does not improve survival rates.Advanced OSCC with surgery plus chemoradiotherapy / radiotherapy or chemoradiotherapy canachieve better results, but the function of organizing chemoradiotherapy is better, and the survival rates and local control rates of patients with simple surgery or radiotherapy are poor.
