Objective : Pain is one of the common postoperative complications of mixed hemorrhoids, which complications, affecting postoperative recovery. Therefore, timely prevention and treatment of postoperative pain has become an important problem for clinicians to solve. At present, the routine treatment methods of postoperative pain are: drug analgesia, traditional Chinese medicine fumigation and washing, suppositories, etc.,but the clinical efficacy is still not ideal, and there are some side effects. This study is under the guidance of meridian theory and through a randomized control, the patients who decided to use mixed hemorrhoids for internal ligation and external peeling and retaining tooth line were treated with catgut embedding at acupoints before operation, which is a reasonable scientific research design.Evaluate the efficacy, safety and practicability of acupoints thread embedding preemptive analgesia in the treatment of postoperative pain of hemorrhoids objectively. Methods : Pick 72 patients who were hospitalized in the department of anus and enterology in 2018,affiliated Hospital of Changchun University of traditional Chinese Medicine according to randomized, controlled scientific design principles, who treated with combined internal hemorrhoids and external peeling and retaining tooth line and met the inclusion criteria and exclusion criteria, were enrolled in the study. They were randomly divided into treatment group(n=36)and control group(n=36).Treatment group: point catgut embedding 2 hours before operation.Only oral painkillers were given to the control group. At 12,24,48,72,96,120,144,168 h after operation,VRS was recorded according to the patient's description. The main outcome measures were: visual analogue score(VAS)pain score, oral description score(FPS)pain score.Secondary outcome measures: Edema score of wound,Number and total use of painkillers.Analysis of all data and results with Statistical Software SPSS22.0.Results:Main outcome measures:(1)the visual analogue score(VAS)of postoperative pain in the treatment group was compared with that in the control group. At the level of a0.05,the two groups were examined at different time points(48 h,72 h,96 h,120 h).144 h)pain relief in the treatment group was superior to that in the control group(P < 0.05),and there was a significant difference between the two groups(P < 0.05).The treatment group was superior to the control group.(2)the oral description score(VRS)of the two groups was better than that of the control group at different time points(48 h,72 h,96 h,120 h,144 h)at the examination level of a0.05,the pain relief of the two groups was better than that of the control group at different time points(48 h,72 h,96 h,120 h,144 h).There was significant difference in curative effect between the two groups(P < 0.05).(3)The facial expression score(FPS)in the two groups was better than that in the control group at different time points(48 h,72 h,96 h,120 h).There was significant difference in curative effect between the two groups(P < 0.05).Secondary outcome measures: the scores of wound edema in the treatment group and the control group were compared with those in the control group. At different time points(12 h,24 h,48 h,96 h,120 h,144 h),the two groups were examined at different time points(12 hours,24 hours,48 hours,120 hours,144 hours). There was no significant difference in the relief of edema between the two groups at 168 h(P > 0.05),but there was a significant difference between the two groups at 72 h(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Point catgut embedding method is an ideal method for postoperative analgesia of hemorrhoids due to its obvious curative effect in treating anal pain after internal ligation and external peeling of mixed hemorrhoids and retention of tooth thread, reducing the intensity of pain, and making it an ideal method for postoperative analgesia of hemorrhoids.
