Virtual surgery system is the combination of modern medicine and virtual reality technology,it has been widely applied in the field of computer graphics and medical science.The liver is an important organ in the human body,and the liver of each individual has a small difference,so it is of great research significance to highlight the personalization of the liver in the virtual surgery system.From this point of view,a new texture mapping method is proposed in this article,taking the human liver as the object of study,aiming at the problem of traditional texture mapping method,which has some other problems such as unable to highlight personalization,emerging distortion phenomenon,high GPU occupation and long computing time.The new method can be independent of the surface of the grid,the same texture image can be applied to 3D liver models with different resolutions,and the same texture mapping mechanism is also suitable for multiple similar liver models,it fully reflects the personalization.At the same time,a high quality parameterization and a mesh segmentation method of the 3D liver model surface are also proposed,which can effectively suppress the distortion caused by the texture mapping,and can also reduce the GPU occupation,optimize the operation,shorten the operation time,improve the real-time and interactivity of the texture mapping and so on.The main work and research results of this paper are mainly include the following aspects:(1)Construction of the 3D liver model.Utilizing the liver image of visual human plan,the 3D reconstruction of medical images is performed by the steps of image filtering,segmentation,extraction and triangle face rendering,building the 3D liver model to serve the follow-up research of texture mapping.The whole process has been improved on the basis of the actual requirements based on the traditional algorithms,optimizing the operation and constructing the triangular mesh with better shape,which lays the foundation for the follow-up study of this article.(2)Construction of global UV map on the surface of the liver model.A method of cutting in 3D liver model surface is put forward to expand the 3D liver model to a two-dimensional plane to reduce the inevitable distortion phenomenon caused by the texture mapping process of liver model.It takes voxel as the basic unit,and the whole process contains many steps,such as voxeling,space mapping,removal of overlap and encapsulation and so on.(3)Personalized texture mapping of liver surface based on volume-code.On the basis of the surface voxel of the 3D liver model,a high quality parameterization method is proposed,by adding the appropriate constraint conditions and introducing the energy expression,then it is converted to a least square problem.The whole process of texture mapping takes both angle protection and area protection into consideration,and the personalized effect is achieved by using the improved tangent space normal mapping method.Finally,this paper design a prototype system with humanization,good operation and expansibility,realizing the integration of visual content of the experimental content of each module,and the experimental results and analysis of the corresponding steps are also given,validating the correctness and feasibility of the theoretical algorithm in the main chapter.At the end of this paper,the work prospect and research direction of the next stage are put forward.
