Combined Detection Of OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 Expression In Laryngeal Squamous Cell Carcinoma And Its Clinical Significance

Objective:Combined detection of OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 protein expression in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma,and analysis of the relationship between OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 protein and prognosis,to provide guidance for the clinical treatment of squamous cell carcinoma.Methods:the expression of OPN?VEGF and MMP-9 in human laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma(n=80)and normal tissues beside the carcinoma(n=30)by immunohistochemical,The expression of OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 and their correlations with clinicopathological factors were analyzed by spss software.Kaplan-Meier method was used to calculate the 5-year survival rate of 52 patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma who were followed for more than 5 years.Results:? The positive rates of OPN,VEGF and MMP-9 in laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma were 58.75%(47/80),77.5%(62/80),and 63.75%(51/80),respectively,which were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues(P<0.05).? The expressions of OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 protein were not related to gender,age,smoking,alcohol consumption,and type of laryngeal cancer(P>0.05).Clinical stage,pathological differentiation,and lymph node metastasis in patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma Regarding(P<0.05),the later the clinical stage,the lower the degree of pathological differentiation,and the lymph node metastasis,the higher the expression rate of the three proteins.? There was a positive correlation between the expression of OPN and VEGF,OPN and MMP-9,VEGF and MMP-9 in LSCC tissues.Their Spearman correlations were respectively rs=0.278,P<0.05;rs=0.266,P<0.05;rs= 0.279,P<0.05.It is suggested that the expression of OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 protein is closely related to the progression of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma,and there may be an intrinsic synergistic relationship.?The five-year survival rate of OPN,VEGF and MMP-9 in the different expression groups of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma was calculated by Kaplan-Meier.The 5-year survival rate of patients with positive expression of OPN,VEGF and MMP-9 was lower than that of patients with negative expression.The statistical significance(P<0.05),and the five-year survival rate of the laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma group with positive expression of OPN and VEGF and MMP-9 were significantly lower than the 5-year survival rate of other groups(Log-Rank test,P<0.01).Conclusion:The expressions of OPN,VEGF and MMP-9 are significantly correlated with the clinical stage,pathological grade,and lymph node metastasis of patients with laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.There is a certain relationship between the expression of OPN,VEGF and MMP-9 in the invasion and metastasis of laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma.There is a synergistic positive relationship between OPN,VEGF,MMP-9 protein expression.Combined detection of three protein expressions may provide additional prognostic information.
