Effect Of Docetaxel To 5-Fu Combined With Cisplatin In Patients With Advanced Elderly Esophageal Squamous Cell Carcinoma

Objective: To investigate the efficacy and safety of docetaxel tcombined with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil combined with cisplatin in the treatment of advanced elderly esophageal squamous cell carcinoma and their effects on related proteins and cytokines.Methods: 98 elderly patients with esophageal squamous cell carcinoma who were treated in our hospital from August 2016 to August 2018 were selected.Patients were divided into control group(n = 49)and study group(n = 49)according to the random number table method.Patients in control group were given chemotherapy regimen of cisplatin combined with 5-fluorouracil.Patients in study group were given chemotherapy regimen of docetaxel combined with cisplatin.The objective response rate of the two groups were compared.The levels of the related proteins and cytokines[C-reactive protein(CRP),interleukin-6(IL-6),interleukin-8(IL-8)and soluble MHC-I chain-related gene A(sMICA)] were compared before and after treatment.The adverse reactions were recorded.Results: In the study group,one patient did not complete the third chemotherapy due to bone marrow suppression after chemotherapy,while in the control group,one patient withdrew from chemotherapy automatically due to intolerable gastrointestinal reactions.A total of 96 patients,48 in the control group and 48 in the study group were counted.The objective response rate after treatment in the study group was64.58%(31/48),significantly higher than 41.67%(20/48)in the control group(P <0.05).There was no significant difference in CRP,IL-6,IL-8 and sMICA between the two groups before treatment(P > 0.05),and the above indexes were lower in the studygroup than in the control group after three courses of treatment(P < 0.05).The incidence of hematological and non-hematological adverse reactions in the study group was lower than that in the control group.(P < 0.05).Conclusion:Docetaxel combined with cisplatin and 5-fluorouracil combined with cisplatin in the treatment of advanced esophageal squamous cell carcinoma in the elderly have significant curative effect.It can effectively improve the level of related proteins and cytokines,and the incidence of adverse reactions is low.It has certain clinical application value.
