Objective : To give full play to the characteristics and advantages of traditional Chinese medicine in the treatment of multiple tic disorder,we observed the motor tic of patients with multiple tic disorder before and after treatment by using the Yale comprehensive tic severity scale(YGTSS),)TCM syndromes integral table. To evaluate the clinical effect of Changma Xifeng tablet combined with psychological and behavioral intervention in the treatment of multiple tic syndrome. To verify the effectiveness of Changma Xifeng tablet combined with psychological and behavioral intervention in the treatment of multiple tic syndrome,in order to provide a comprehensive treatment method for clinical syndrome differentiation and improve the clinical efficacy. Methods: In this clinical study,65 patients with multiple tic syndrome(hyperactivity of the liver)were selected from Datong City Maternal and Child Hospital and Pingchengzhong Hospital. The patients were divided into treatment group(33 cases)and control group(32 cases). The treatment group was treated with Changma Xifeng tablet combined with psychological and behavioral intervention while the control group was treated with Changma Xifeng tablet for 2 months and followed up after 3 months. After 2treatment cycles,5 cases were shedding,60 cases were actually involved in the experiment,30 cases were in the treatment group, and 30 cases in the control group. The clinical efficacy of 60 patients in the two groups before and after treatment was compared, and the severity of Yale comprehensive twitch was compared.Table(YGTSS),TCM syndrome scores, changes, statistics and evaluation of efficacy, while recording adverse events occurred during the study period,follow-up treatment after 3 months recurrence rate. Results: Before treatment, there was no significant difference in general data, baseline data(age, sex, course of disease,YGTSS score,TCM syndrome score)between the two groups(P > 0.05).After treatment, the total effective rate of the treatment group was 86.67% and the total effective rate of the control group was 73.33%.The clinical efficacy of the treatment group was significantly higher than that of the control group(P <0.05).The effective rate of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was 93.33% and 76.67% in the control group. The curative effect of TCM syndrome in the treatment group was significantly better than that in the control group(P < 0.05).The total score of YGTSS,the score of vocal twitch, the score of motor tic and the score of TCM syndrome in the two groups were significantly lower than those before treatment(P < 0.05).Compared with the control group, the total score of YGTSS,the score of vocal twitch, the score of motor twitch and the score of TCM syndromes in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P < 0.05).The recurrence rate in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group after 3 months follow-up(P <0.05).There was no obvious abnormality of safety indexes in both groups during the clinical study. Conclusion: The clinical efficacy of Changma Xifeng tablet combined with psychological and behavioral intervention in the treatment of multiple tic syndrome wasconfirmed, which was superior to that of Changma Xifeng tablet alone in the treatment of multiple tic syndrome.Changma Xifeng tablet combined with psychological and behavioral intervention in the treatment of multiple tic syndrome can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of patients with multiple tic disease and improve the clinical efficacy.
