Objective : To compare and observe the weekly efficacy,Edmonton symptom assessment scale(ESAS)score and weight changes of patients with moderate to severe pain caused by nasopharyngeal carcinoma radiotherapy, which is treated by oxycontin(oxycodone hydrochloride sustained release tablets)with Mouthwash Solution and Mouthwash Solution alone. Methods:Compared with 30 cases of radiotherapy 10 times or more, oral mucosal injury more than 2 degrees, respectively, patients with nasopharyngeal carcinoma treated by Mouthwash Solution and Oxycodone with Mouthwash Solution,Oxycodone initial dose of 10 mg / q12 h,according to the degree of pain relief to adjust the dose Appropriate care and medication guidance were given during the medication, and the pain efficacy, the Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale(ESAS)score, and the weight change were evaluated weekly before and after treatment. Results:The pain score of the treatment group was significantly lower than that of the control group. The Edmonton Symptom Assessment Scale(ESAS)score was also significantly lower in the treatment group than in the control group, and The effect of oxycontin on indicator variables will continue to be effective as the number of weeks increases,p<0.001,the weight loss of patients with Oxycodone analgesia was not lower than that of patients with Mouthwash Solution,P>0.05.The higher the grade of oral mucositis, the more severe the pain. Conclusion : It is safe and effective to take Oxycodone for the treatment of oral mucosal injury caused by radiotherapy for nasopharyngeal carcinoma.
