Objective: To investigate the relationship between serum lipids, uric acid(UA)and diabetic retinopathy(DR)in patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus(T2DM).Methods: A total of 180 patients with T2 DM were selected from The Third People's Hospital of Bengbu from 2016 to 2018.According to the fundus examination results,we divided into three groups: 62 cases of type 2 diabetes without retinopathy(NDR),60 cases of non-proliferative diabetic retinopathy(NPDR)and 58 cases of proliferative diabetic retinopathy(PDR).The general clinical data(including course of disease, blood pressure, height, weight, etc.),fasting blood glucose(FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c),total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),UA,were recorded at admission in all three groups. The relationship between DR and the difference of the detected indexes among groups was analyzed. Results: 1.There was no significant difference in age,sex composition, course of disease, systolic blood pressure(SBP),Diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and body mass index(BMI)among the three groups(P>0.05);2.Comparison of blood glucose and lipid levels among the three groups:(1)There was no significant difference in FPG,HbA1c(P>0.05).(2)There was a significant difference in the level of Serum lipids(P<0.05);3.Comparison of uric acid levels among the three groups:(1)The difference of UA level among the three groups was statistically significant(P<0.05);(2)All subjects were divided into low concentration, medium concentration and high concentration group according to the concentration of UA.The incidence of DR at different levels was 58.82%,60.00% and 82.61%.It was found that with the increase of UA level, the incidence of DR increased and the difference of UA level among the three groups was statistically significant,Conclusion: Serum lipids and UA play an important role in the occurrence and development of DR,and control the level of these can help to delay the occurrence of DR.
