| ObjectiveChronic prostatitis is a common and frequent disease in clinical practice in young and middle-aged men,often delayed.There are many difficulties in the diagnosis and treatment of this disease in clinic.With the development of social economy,environmental change and the improvement of living standards,men are under increasing pressure to get caught in working life.The incidence of the disease is also increasing year by year,at the same time,the age of onset more tend to be younger,and easy to relapse,frequent disease delay,to the patients caused by life problems and mental and psychological pressure.Studies have shown that the prevalence of chronic prostatitis among men worldwide is as high as 9%-14%,accounting for about one-third of male outpatient patients.The study of Traditional Chinese medicine has a long history,the treatment of the disease has a definite clinical effect,has its unique advantages,through the syndrome differentiation,the adoption of individualized drugs,with a wide range of clinical use,significant curative effect,no dependence and other characteristics,easy to be accepted by patients,with clinical promotion value.The purpose of this experiment was to investigate the clinical efficacy of the QianLieXiaoyao decoction in the treatment of chronic prostatitis with thedamp heat and blood stasis type,and to explore the possible mechanism of the treatment of chronic prostatitis with the QianLieXiaoyao decoction through in vitro antibacterial experiments.MethodsClinical research:A random collection of 80 cases from the The Fourth Clinical Medical College of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine,male outpatient patients,diagnosed as chronic prostatitis,syndrome differentiation forthedamp heat and blood stasis type.Randomly divided into 40 cases in the experimental group,40 cases in the control group,two groups of patients were treated with oral Ningmitai capsule symptomatic treatment,the experimental group in the control group on the basis of the treatment of the QianLie Xiaoyao decoction Oral,control group simply oral Ningmitai capsule therapy,to observe the patients with Chinese medicine turbidity(thedamp heat and blood stasis type)TCM syndromes points The National Institutes of Health developed a chronic prostatitis symptom score(NIH-CPSI score),prostate fluid routine examination and other efficacy indicators.In vitro antibacterial research:collection of hemolytic aureus isolated from prostate fluid specimens sent by urology and male outpatient clinics of the fourth Clinical Medical College of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese medicine,all patients selected for chronic prostatitis were adult males older than 18 years old,and the test results were not combined with mycoplasma infection.All cases in group trials met the diagnostic criteria for prostatitis developed by the National Institutes of Health(NIH).The water extract of ningbitai capsule and traditional Chinese medicine compound was prepared,the strains of hemolytic aureus with strong biofilm were selected,the traditional Chinese medicine preparation with conventional concentration was added,and the OD595 value was determined after 24 hours of culture,and the formation of bacterial biofilm was judged.The semi-inhibitory rate of the two drugs on bacterial biofilm was observed IC50.Results1.The experimental group compared with the control group of Chinese Medicine turbidity(thedamp heat and blood stasis type)TCM syndrome points in the frequency of urine,the points of urinary urgency,urinary pain,urethral burning or urinary irritation,residual leaching,perineal pain or maladjustment,abdominal pain or discomfort,testicular pain,lumbosacral acid swelling pain,scrotum moisture,tongue yellow and other integrals were significantly reduced,with significant differences(P<0.05).2.The experimental group and the control group of chronic prostatitis symptom score comparison,pain discomfort,urination status,symptom severity,quality of life effects and NIH-CPSI total score are significantly different(P<0.05).3.Compared with the routine examination indexes of prostate fluid in the experimental group and the control group,the number of white blood cells and lecithin in the experimental group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.05).4.In vitro research results:Ningmitai capsule has the effect of inhibiting bacterial biofilm activity,the IC50 is 15.11±2.20 mg/ml,but in this study,the QianLie Xiaoyao decoction did not significantly inhibit the activity of bacterial biofilm.ConclusionThe effect of QianLie Xiaoyao decoctionis for clearing heat and dampness,activating blood and relieving stasis,combined with modern medicine for the treatment of chronic prostatitis and its mechanism,after TCM syndrome differentiation and treatment,for patients with thedamp heat and blood stasis type of chronic prostatitis can significantly improve the clinical symptoms of urination discomfort,pain and discomfort,and then improve the quality of life of patients.It is an effective method for the treatment of chronic prostatitis in clinic and has clinical popularization value.However,in vitro antibacterial experiments have preliminarily proved that the mechanism of the treatment of chronic prostatitis by the leading QianLie Xiaoyao decoction is not inhibiting the activity of bacterial biofilm,and its possible mechanism needs further study. |
