| Objective:The clinical practice found that the combined treatment of traditional Chinese medicine and Western medicine can significantly reduce the re-hospitalization rate of patients with chronic heart failure,improve the quality of life and lighten the burden of the country and society.The purpose of this study was to observe the therapeutic effect of Zhang Xichun "JiJi Decoction" on chronic heart failure and the influence of plasma matrix lysin 2(ST2),Plasma N-terminal B-terminal brain natriuretic peptide precursor(NT-pro-BNP),D-dimer(D-D)in patients.Methods:According to inclusion and exclusion criteria,a total of 60 patients with chronic heart failure(deficiency of yin and yang)were included according to excel random number table.Then,excel random number method was used to divide 60 patients into treatment group and control group.All of them came from the fourth Clinical Medical College of Guangzhou University of Traditional Chinese Medicine.The treatment group was treated with basic western medicine and JiJi Decoction,the control group was treated with basic western medicine.The treatment period was 2 weeks.The plasma levels of ST2,NT-pro-BNP and D-dimer before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.The scores of TCM syndromes?the New York Heart Association(NYHA)grade and the left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF)were recorded before and after treatment.After the clinical trial was completed,the data were analyzed to evaluate the efficacy and safety.After 3 months follow-up,statistics and analysis the data of rehospitalization due to heart failure.Resu ts:1.At baseline,there was no significant difference in sex,age,blood pressure,heart rate,TCM syndrome score,cardiac function grading,ST2,NT-pro-BNP and D-dimer between the treatment group and the control group before the treatment.2.After treatment,the ST2,NT-pro-BNP,D-dimer values of both groups decreased compared with the baseline.Between the two groups,There were significant differences in ST2,NT-pro-BNP and D-dimer values.The treatment group were better than the control group in the above indexes.3.After treatment,there was significant difference in cardiac function grading between the two groups.The total effective rate of cardiac function in the treatment group was 86.21%,while that in the control group was 75.86%,there was significant difference.The EF value of the two groups was lower than that of the baseline,and the EF value of the two groups was significantly different.The treatment group was superior to the control group.4.After treatment,the TCM syndromes scores of the two groups decreased compared with the baseline,and the TCM syndromes scores of the two groups were significantly lower than that of the baseline.The total effective rate of TCM syndromes in the treatment group was 100.00%,while that in the control group was 58.62%.The treatment group was superior to the control group.5.Following up for 3 months,1 patient in the treatment group was hospitalized because of heart failure,accounting for 3.45%of the patients.5 cases in the control group was hospitalized,accounted for 17.24%.There was no significant difference between the two groups.Conelusions:1.JiJi Decoction can reduce the level of serum ST2,NT-pro-BNP,D-dimer markers in patients with Yin and Yang deficiency syndrome of chronic heart failure,reduce the integral of TCM symptoms,and improve the curative effect of TCM syndrome,the curative effect of cardiac function and ejection fraction of heart.2.Overall observation,JiJi Decoction combined with conventionalwestern medicine is superior to the conventional treatment of western medicine alone in the treatment of chronic heart failure.Therefore,JiJi Decoction is an effective prescription for patients with chronic heart failure(deficiency of yin and yang),and is safe and reliable,and no obvious toxic and side reaction be found. |
