Objective:To compare the diagnostic value of rapid antigen detection for influenza virus(fluorescence immunochromatography)and RT PCR in early childhood influenza virus detection. Methods:Rapid antigen detection of influenza virus was performed on 800 samples collected from April 2016 to January 2017 by fluorescence immunochromatography, and 170 samples were tested by RT PCR to verify the accuracy of the rapid antigen detection method. Results:Fluorescence immunochromatography detected positive influenza a virus in 38 cases, influenza b virus in 45 cases.RT PCR detected influenza A virus in 40 cases, influenza B virus in 48 cases. The diagnostic sensitivity and specificity of fluorescence immunochromatography for influenza A virus and influenza B virus were 94.3% and 100.0% respectively. It took 30 min, significantly less than 3h for RT PCR.Conclusion:Fluorescence immunochromatography is consistent with RT PCR and can be used for the diagnosis of early childhood influenza virus.
