Management Information System Design And Realization For Medical Consumables Based On PowerBuilder

Research purposes:This research aims at strengthening informatization management of primary hospitals on medical consumables,reducing proportion of medical consumables in primary hospitals through system development and utilization,and providing help for informatization construction in primary hospitals.This system establishment bases on PowerBuilder database development tool,which can be helpful to solve business connection among various links and departments,inquire data and conduct statistics on existing problems in the daily management and utilization processes of medical consumables in primary hospitals,satisfy urgent demand of primary hospitals on informatization management system and practically strengthen refined management of primary hospitals on medical consumablesResearch contents and method: this system takes PowerBuilder as development tool and bases on system development technology route for implementation,adopts prototype method,persists in the design idea of OOT,centers on consumables,adheres to the principle of fully considering system security and reliance for design.Research contents:Chapter I mainly introduces the research background,purpose and significance,domestic and overseas research situations.Chapter II mainly introduces the related technologies for system development as well as system architecture(C/S),PowerBuilder development tool and Oracle database.Chapter III mainly introduces system demand analysis,describes the system application scope,characteristics,system establishment as well as functional and non-functional demands.Chapter IV bases on demand analysis for system design,involving three parts: overall design of system,detailed design of system and database design.Chapter V refers to system realization,which presents the specific processes of main function modules of the system by aid of function screenshot and adds core code forfunctional realization.Chapter VI conducts system test mainly to check whether the system satisfies the users.Chapter VI conducts summary,expounds system defect and proposes suggestions on future development.Research result: firstly,we base on field investigation to find that there exists with many disadvantages in traditional management mode of medical consumables,which can not only reduce management efficiency of hospitals but also cause hidden dangers for utilization of medical consumables.According to the investigation result,this paper proposes a fresh management mode,namely,realizing refined management on medical consumables.Demand analysis is conducts based on the actual situation of medical consumables,various functional modules are designed as well.The system deign is composed of multiple function modules: application for management,warehousing and ex-warehousing management,inquiry function,inventory management,purchasing plan and system setting.The system adopts C/S architecture,data storage bases on Oracle11 g database and the development tool is PowerBuilder.Conclusion: Adopting informatization technology to realize informatization management on medical consumables is the future development orientation for management of basic medical institutions,which is also the requirement of big data era on medical informatization.The system development bases on people first,centers on saving cost of primary hospitals and makes full use of existing technology equipment and talents thus to realize refined management on medical consumables of primary hospitals.System development can not only realize informationalized scientific management mode but also can simplify business process,save hospital cost and provide technology support to refined management for primary hospitals.In specific system realization process,the utilization efficiency of consumables can be improved and the whole process can be standardized thus to effectively eliminate various problems and enhance utilization security of consumables.
