Clinical Study Of Redu Qing Yin Combined With Fire Needle In The Treatment Of Cystic Acne

ObjectiveTo observe whether the effect of Redu Qing Yin combined with Fire Needling on the whole lesion and cyst of cystic acne is different from that of Fire Needling alone.MethodsIn this study,72 patients with cystic acne who met the diagnostic criteria of both Chinese and Western medicine and inclusion criteriawere divided into two groupsrandomly,36 case in each group.The treatment group was treated with oral Redu Qing Yin(Lonicera japonica 15g,Morus alba 20g,Yinchen 15g,Yam 15g,Coix seed 30g,Salvia miltiorrhiza 15g,Forsythia suspense 15g,Scutellaria baicalensis 10g,Fritillaria thunbergii 15g,Poria Cocos 20g,Danpi 10g,Chaihu 10g,Licorice 5g)combined with fire needle.The control group was treated with fire needle for 4 weeks.Four weeks later,the effects of the two groups on the overall skin lesions,cysts and specific cyst indicators(number of cysts,size of cysts,texture of lesions,color of lesions)were compared.ResultAfter one month’s study,65 cases were collected and 7 cases were lost,of which 32 cases were in the treatment group and 33 cases were in the control group.(1)Baseline comparison between the two groups:1)Before treatment,Fisher test showed no significant difference about the sex ratio between these two groups(P>0.05),suggesting that sex ratio between these two groups had no significant difference;2)The age between these groups was significantly different by t test(P<0.05),suggesting that the age ofthe two groups was differentsignificantly;3)The course of disease and overall skin lesion between these two group.There was no significant difference in the number,size,texture and color of cysts between the two groups,suggesting that there was no significant difference in the severity of the disease between the two groups.In summary,The sex ratio,age,course of disease,overall skin lesion,cyst condition and each observation index of cyst between the two groups were comparable.(2)The comparison of curative effect between the two groups:1)Compared with before treatment,the overall skin lesion,cyst condition and cyst indicators of the two groups were significantly improved after treatment(P<0.05);2)Compared with the control group,the improvement of the overall skin lesion and cyst condition of the patients in the treatment group was significantly different(P<0.05);3)For the specific indicators of cyst,compared with the control group.There were significant differences in the number,size and texture of cysts between the treatment group and the control group(P<0.05),but the color with no significant difference(P>0.05).Fourthly,there was significant difference in the overall skin lesion between the two groups by Wilcoxon W test(P<0.05),and the treatment group was better than the control group.The curative effect of cysts in two groups was significantly different by Wilcoxon test(P<0.05).The treatment group was better than the control group.Conclusion(1)Redu Qing Yin combined with fire needle or simple fire needle therapy can effectively improve the skin lesions of cystic acne patients.(2)Compared with fire-needle therapy alone,Redu Qing Yin combined with fire-needle therapy can more effectively improve the overall skin lesion and cyst condition of cystic patients.(3)Compared with fire-needle therapy alone,Redu Qing Yin combined with fire-needle therapy can improve the number,size and texture of cysts more effectively,and the two groups have the same degree of improvement in color.(4)There was a significant difference in the distribution of overall skin lesions between the two groups.The therapeutic effect of the treatment group was better than that of the control group.(5)It is suggested that the distribution of curative effect between the two groups was different significantly.The curative effect of the treatment group is better than that of the control group.
