Objective:This study observed and evaluated the efficacy of warm acupuncture in treating primary dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis,in order to further explore the feasible special acupuncture methods in the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea, and to provide a new idea of green, safe and non-toxic side effects for the treatment of primary dysmenorrhea. Methods:From September 2018 to March 2019,60 patients with primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type were collected from the physiotherapy department, acupuncture department and gynecology department of guangdong hospital of traditional Chinese medicine, which were randomly divided into two groups:wen acupuncture group and ibuprofen group, each with 30 patients. In the ibuprofen group, ibuprofen sustained-release capsules(mainly 0.3g ibuprofen)were taken orally, one tablet at a time, twice a day.Begin to take from dysmenorrhea attack that day, period does not stop medicine, take 3 days continuously,if inside 3 days acetanilide can stop using instantly,1 menstrual cycle is a course of treatment. In the warm acupuncture group, acupoint qi,guan yuan, xue hai(both sides)and tai chong(both sides)wore selected. With the method of taichongxing diarrhea, the rest points were filled and purged flat, qihai and guanyuan points were heated, and the needles were left for 30min until the moxa strip was burnt out.Treatment course:start treatment 3-5 days before menstruation every month, once a day,and cont inue treatment until menstruation. One menstrual cycle is one course of treat ment.VAS score,COX dysmenorrhea symptom scale and grading quantification table of dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis were recorded before and after treatment and 1 menstrual cycle was fol lowed up to evaluate the efficacy of patients.Results:1.Before treatment, there were no significant differences between the two groups in age, course of disease, dysmenorrhea grade,VAS score,COX duration score,COX severity score and dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis, which were comparable.2.Pairwise comparison was made between the two groups on VAS score,COX duration score,COX severity score and dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis at each time point before and after treatment and during follow-up.The results showed that the scores of VAS,COX duration score,COX severity score and dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis decreased in the two groups after treatment.3.Both the wen acupuncture group and the ibuprofen group were effective in reducing the VAS score of dysmenorrhea, with the effective rates of 96.7%and 96.4Yo,respectively.There was no significant difference in the effective rates between the two groups. The effective rate of wen acupuncture group in reducing dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type was 83.3%,significantly higher than that of ibuprofen group(effective rate 53.6%),and the difference in effective rate between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).The improvement of the score of dysmenorrhea with qi stagnation and blood stasis in the wen acupuncture group was better than that in the ibuprofen group. Conclusion:The analgesic efficiency of wen moxibustion is equivalent to ibuprofen sustained-release capsule, which can obviously improve the symptoms of traditional Chinese medicine in patients with dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type, and is an effective method for treating primary dysmenorrhea of qi stagnation and blood stasis type.
