ObjectiveMagnetic resonance diffusion weighted imaging(DWI-MRI)is currently the only imaging method that can detect water molecular motion noninvasively in the living bodys. There is single index model(SIM)and dual index model(DIM)in clinical practice. It reflects the microscopic structure and function state of tumor from the inside, and provides important informations about the tumor differentiation at molecular level.SIM-DWI adopt single b value to scan, while DIM-DWI is applied with multiple b values, which is called intravoxel incoherent motion(IVIM).The purpose of this study was to investigate the application of SIM and DIM diffusion weighted magnetic resonance imaging in the evaluation of the pathological types and degree of differentiation of solid lung cancer.MethodsThis study collected patients with primary lung cancer admitted to the First Affiliatecl Hospital of Guangzhou University of TCM from March 2018 to December 2018.All cases were proved by bronchopathology or CT-guided percutaneous lung puncture biopsy. All patients underwent conventional MRI examinations and IV.IM examinations(b value=0,10,20,30,40,50,100,200,400,600,800,1000 s/mm2).ADC map was from at the Siemens post-processing workstation, singo via, then sketched a ROI of the tumor and got an ADC value.Import the image into MITK,a medical image post-processing software, sketched a ROI in accordance with the ROI of ADC map, fitted curve will be obtained automatically,so as the f value,D value and D,value. The parameters between two different pathological groups were compared with T-test of independent sampler.ANOVO was used to compare the differences of ADC value,f value,D value and D,value between different differentiation degrees, and Spearman correlation coefficient was used to analyze the correlation between these parameters and different differentiation degrees.ResultsBy t test, the ADC values and D*values of SCLC have significant difference(P<0.05)with that of NSCLC,among which adenocarcinoma and squamous carcinoma both have difference in ADC values and D,values with SCLC.But these parameters have no significant difference between adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinomas(P>0.05).The results of anova showed that the D*and f values were not all the same among the non-small cell lung cancer groups with different differentiation. The pairwise comparison showed that the D'values were significantly different among the between any two differentiation groups(all P<0.05),and the D*value increased as the differentiation degree decreased.F values between low and medium differentiated groups were markedly different(P<0.05),while f values between other two groups have no s significant difference(P>0.05).D values were not significantly different between groups with different differentiation of NSCLC(P>0.05).ConclusionADC value and D*value can be used as imaging indexes to distinguish SCLC from NSCLC,so as to distinguish SCLC from adenocarcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma.ADC,D*and f can reflect the differentiation degree of NSCLC to a certain extent. So these parameters can be used as indicators to predict the differentiation degree of NSCLC.
