| Purpose To investigate the relationship between anterior ocular parameters and primary angle-closure glaucoma(PACG).Comparing with normal people,to find the correlation between anterior ocular parameters and the occurrence of PACG.Methods In this case-control study,a total of 56 eyes of 41 with PACG and 22 eyes of 17 normal people were selected. The two groups underwent LenStar 900 and AS-OCT to determine anterior ocular parameters.Using receiver operating characteristic curves to find diagnostic accuracy of each parameters in PACG and evaluate the discriminative power of the parameters. Results The age and sex between PACG group and normal control group had no significant difference(P>0.05).The parameters of anterior chamber excepting CCR in PACG group were significantly smaller than those in normal control group, while CCR was significantly bigger in PACG group(P<0.001).There was a significant decrease in RCALS,RCPLS,LP,and RLP,and an increase in LT and LV(P<0.05).The parameters of axial lengths excepting LT/AL,LV/AL in PACG group were smaller, while LT/AL,LV/AL were bigger, with statistically significant difference(P<0.05).All parameters of chamber angle in PACG group were significantly smaller(P<0.05).ACD,AD,RCALS,LP,AD/AL and AOD750 had significantly stronger diagnostic power for detecting angle closure(P<0.05).Conclusion PACG always has shallow anterior chamber depth, thick and more anteriorly positioned lens, short axial length, and narrow anterior chamber angle, which leading to crowded anterior chamber.ACD,AD,RCALS,LP,AD/AL and AOD750 has excellent correlation with PACG,thus, can provide anatomical basis for diagnosis and prevention of PACG. |
