Object:(1)According to the HCV gene NS5 B segment design primers, the HCV virus gene of HCV patients in Hunan drug users was classified.(2)To explore the distribution characteristics of HCV genotypes among drug users in Hunan Province, and to provide guidance and help for the accurate treatment of HCV-positive people in this population. Methods : Plasma samples of drug users aged 18 years and older who had not received antiviral therapy and were positive for HCV antibodies were collected from14 cities and prefectures in Hunan Province. There were 15 samples per city and state, totaling 210.The collected plasma samples were subjected to HCV antibody by ELISA retest, fluorescent PCR to quantify HCV-RNA detection and genotyping. Results: Among 210 respondents,202 cases of HCV antibody positive samples were retested by ELISA,the positive rate was 96.19%;181 cases of HCV-RNA viral load >15 IU/m L were detected by fluorescent PCR,and the positive rate was 86.19%.The HCV genotypes were 18 cases(9.94%)of type 1 and 51 cases(28.18%)of type 2,47 cases(25.97%)of type 1 mixed type 2,and 65 cases(35.91%)of other types. The regional distribution is mainly non-type 1 and the 2 type is generally distributed. Conclusion: The HCV genotypes of drug users in Hunan Province are more complicated. The regional distribution is mainly non-type 1,2 and 3 type is widely distributed.Further research is needed.
