ObjectiveThe purpose of this paper is to develop DSA machine's safety cabin for radioprotection in percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI)and to conduct a preliminary clinical application.Then we can comparative analysis the attenuation of radiation before and after application,it will provides protection for the parters in PCI.Methods1.Designed a DSA machine's safety cabin for radioprotection(hereinafter referred to as the safety cabin)and used it on the PCI standard phantom;seted four radiant intensity detected planes which width is 300 cm and height is 180 cm along the bed unit 30 cm away,radiant intensity data collected dot arrays distributed along the XY axis at intervals of 30 cm in each plane;equidistant in each of the three regions of thyroid region,gonad region and head region,each distributed radiant intensity collected dot matrix containing 7 acquisited points.2.In order to detect the safety performance of the safety cabin,seted the unused safety cabin group to the control group and the safety cabin group to the test group.The film and the fluoroscopy operations were used in the two groups,compared data from different horizontal distances in the same beam and protective state in each group;compared data from the same plans in two groups;compared data from the same vertical distance which was in the plans on the left and right sides of the bed in two groups.3.The data were analyzed by using the Statistical Package for the SocialSciences(SPSS)17.0.The medians,interquartile ranges were used as the statistical description;the Kruskal-Wallis H(K)test in the nonparametric test was used for comparison between groups;the Mann-Whitney U test was used for comparison between the two groups.P<0.05 was considered statistically significant.Results1.In the film operation,the data of the different horizontal distances in each same plane were compared,whenever in the control group or the test group,the difference of radiant intensity data in the left plane,the right plane and the foot plane was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the head plane's radiant intensity(P>0.05).2.In the fluoroscopy operation,the data of the different horizontal distances in each same plane were compared,whenever in the control group or the test group,the difference of radiant intensity data in the left plane,the right plane was statistically significant(P<0.05);there was no significant difference in the head plane's radiant intensity(P>0.05).And the foot plane's radiant intensity has a different statistically significant(P<0.05)in the control group but none in the test group(P>0.05).3.Regardless of the film or fluoroscopy operation,the data of same plane between the control group and the test group were compared,the difference of radiant intensity data in the left plane,the right plane,the foot's plane and the gonad's was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group is better than the control group;there was no significant difference in the head plane's,the thyroid's plane's radiant intensity(P>0.05).And the radiant intensity in the plane of the head and face between the control group and the test group has a different statistically significant(P<0.05)in the film operation,and the experimental group is better than the control group,but none in the fluoroscopy operation(P>0.05).4.Regardless of the film or fluoroscopy operation,the data of the different Vertical distances in each same plane between the control group and the test group were compared,the difference of radiant intensity data in the left plane(Y=0,30,90,120,150,180),the right plane(Y=60,90,120,150,180)was statistically significant(P<0.05),and the experimental group is better than the control group;there was no significant difference in the right plane's(Y=0,30)radiant intensity(P>0.05).And the radiant intensity in left plane(Y=60)between the control group and the test group has a different statistically significant(P<0.05)in the film operation,and the experimental group is better than the control group,but none in the fluoroscopy operation(P>0.05).ConclusionsSuccessfully developed DSA machine's safety cabin and it could reduce the radiant intensity of participants in PCI,it should be further researched and applicated in clinical practice.
