Objective: To investigate the pathological types and epidemiological characteristics of primary glomerular disease in adult with renal biopsy in Handan,Hebei,China. Methods: From May 2002 to April 2017,1627 adult patients with primary glomerular disease in the department of nephrology of Han Dan Central Hospital were reviewed. The pathological types of adult primary glomerular disease and the epidemiological evolution of 15 years were retrospectively analyzed in Handan.Results:(1)Among 1627 adult patients with primary glomerular disease in Handan. The male to female ratio was 1.17:1,with the mean age of(40.10 ± 15.80)years;(2)Membranous nephropathy(MN)was the most common disease in adult patients, accounting for 46.28%,followed by minimal change disease(MCD)(19.18%)and IgA nephropathy(IgAN)(17.33%);(3)From the age distribution,MN tends to occur in the middle age,MCD and IgAN are more common in young people(P<0.05);From the gender distribution, primary glomerular disease is more common in men, with glomerular minor lesion(GML)and crescentic glomerulonephritis(CreGN)high in women,The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05);From the pathological type composition,MN has increased significantly in recent years, which compared with May 2002 to April 2010(from 23.98% to 55.84%);the composition of MCD and IgAN decreased compared with previous period(from 27.46% to 12.99% and 22.75% to 17.65% respectively),The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusions: Primary glomerular disease was more common in male and the young adults in Handan.Membranous nephropathy which increased significantly in recent years was the most common type of primary glomerular disease, followed by minimal change disease and IgA nephropathy. |
