Objective: To comprehensively analyze the therapeutic effect of adding immunomodulator drugs into the routine clinical treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease. Methods: Multiple Chinese and foreign language databases were searched by computer, and all RCTS related to this study were searched from January 1,2012 to December 31,2018.RevMan5.3 software was used for comprehensive analysis of all data that eligible for enrollment.Result: A total of 20 randomized controlled trials including 2042 subjects were included in this study.Meta analysis showed that:After applying immunomodulatory drugs on the basis of routine clinical treatment(oxygen therapy,anti-infection,cough and phlegm relieving,anti-inflammation and antiasthma)for patients with chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, the efficacy of patients in the immunomodulatory drugs group(experimental group)was better than those in the non-immunomodulatory drugs group(control group). In addition, the comparison of each index between the experimental group and the control group after treatment showed that the forced expiratory volume in one second and the forced vital capacity in the experimental group were higher than that before treatment and also higher than that in the control group. In the experimental group, the peripheral blood CD4-T lymphocytes increased,CD8-T lymphocytes decreased,CD4-T lymphocyte/CD8-T lymphocyte ratio increased, and immunoglobulin A/immunoglobulin M/ immunoglobulin G increased after treatment. Results after the adjustment of immunotherapy, the improvement of theimmune ability of the control group was not as significant as that of the experimental group. The difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Results after get through modulating immunotherapy, the improvement of the immune ability of the control group was not as significant as that of the experimental group, the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(P<0.05).Conclusion: Immunomodulatory drugs can be applied in the routine treatment of patients with COPD,which is beneficial to improve the treatment effect, slow down the disease progression, delay the decline of lung function, enhance the immune ability of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients, which provides a new direction for the clinical treatment of patients with COPD.
