| Objective: By detecting the expression of BRCA1 and BRCA2 germline in patients with epithelial ovarian cancer(EOC),the gene mutation and its clinical features were analyzed and summarized. Methods: 72 patients with pathological diagnosis of epithelial ovarian cancer(EOC)after gynecological surgery from the Fourth Hospital of Hebei Medical University from August 2017 to October 2018 were collected.BRCA gene was detected and divided into gene mutation group and non-mutation group. The clinical data of the patients, including the age of onset,Surgical staging, surgical methods and effects, pathological types, sensitivity to platinum drugs, decreased CA125 detection values during postoperative chemotherapy, and preoperative tumor marker detection values,as well as the number of maternal births, sterilization, family history.Statistical analysis of patient clinical data was performed using SPSS 21.0 software. The difference was statistically significant at P < 0.05.Results:1.In 72 patients of EOC,the total mutation rate of BRCA gene was 29%(21/72),of which BRCA1 mutation rate was 21%(15/72)and BRCA2 mutation rate was 8%(6/72),which was close to domestic reports.c.6149 dupT is a new mutation site,c.54705477delATTGGGCA is a unique mutation site in China, and c.981982delAT is an ancestor mutation in Chinese.2.There was no significant difference in the age of onset, stage of operation, mode and effect of operation, the decrease of CA125 detection value in the course of post-operative chemotherapy, the detection value of preoperative tumor markers, the number of pregnant and parturient and sterilization of EOC patients; There were significant differences in platinum sensitivity, disease progression within 1 year after initial treatment and family history between the two groups(P = 0.049,P = 0.042,P = 0.002).Conclusion: In 72 patients with EOC,the total mutation rate of BRCA gene and the mutation rate of BRCA1/2 gene were close to domestic reports. There was no correlation between BRCA gene mutation and age of onset, stage of operation, mode of operation, histopathological type, detection value of preoperative tumor markers, decrease of detection value of CA125 during post-operative chemotherapy, number of pregnancies and births and sterilization.Patients with BRCA mutations are more likely to have a family history and have better response to platinum-based chemotherapy. |
