Progress In The Management Of Cardiotoxicity Induced By Anti-breast Cancer Therapy

Breast cancer is the most common malignant tumor among Chinese women.With the continuous improvement of diagnosis and treatment methods,the 5-year survival rate of breast cancer patients has increased significantly and increased year by year.Due to the prolonged treatment time and survival time of breast cancer,more and more cancer survivors are at risk of other complications during the treatment and follow-up of breast cancer patients.Cardiovascular disease is the primary cause of non-cancer death in breast cancer patients.Some anticancer therapies such as chemotherapy,endocrine therapy,targeted therapy,immunotherapy and radiotherapy can lead to cardiotoxicity,including coronary heart disease,arrhythmia,valve injury,pericarditis,thromboembolism events,heart failure and so on.Therefore,it is necessary to pay attention to the cardiotoxicity of breast cancer treatment and the management of its cardiotoxicity.This article focuses on the cardiotoxicity,screening methods of cardiotoxicity,cardioprotective drugs,protective strategies and followup strategies in the treatment of breast cancer.
