| Object: Through the comparison of the clinical symptoms and the recurrence of functional constipation(FC)of young and middle-aged women with syndrome of liver qi stagnation after taking the modified Sini Powder and lactulose,to explore the efficacy of modified Sini Powder in the treatment of FC in the middle-aged women with syndrome of liver qi stagnation.Methods: Sixty young and middle-aged women with syndrome of liver qi stagnation of FC who met the inclusive criteria were randomly divided into treatment group and matched group.The treatment group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction— the modified Sini Powder.The specific medication was: Radix bupleuri 12 g,Radix paeoniae alba 20 g,stir-baked Fructus Aurantii 20 g,prepared Radix Glycyrrhizae 6g,Betel nut 15 g,Lulutong 15 g,Qingpi 10 g,stir-baked Semen Raphani 30 g,and revise it according to the patient’s condition.Decocting and taking method: decocted in water,1 dose a day,300 ml of juice,and take in every morning and every evening with warm juice.In the matched group,take 10 ml of lactulose each time,and three times a day.After 8 weeks,observe the improvement of constipation of the two groups according to the constipation symptom score table.After 4 weeks,observe the recurrence of the two groups by following-up the effective patients.Finally,collect the data,and analysis the data by SPSS 22.0 software.Results:1.Clinical therapeutic effect: The effective rate of the modified Sini Powder was 90%,and the lactulose group was 80%.Both two groups were treated effective,and the modified Sini Powder group was superior to the lactulose group in improving symptoms(P<0.05).2.The total and main symptoms:after treatment,the total and main symptoms of the two groups were improved(P <0.05),and the degree of improvement of the symptoms of the modified Sini Powder group was significantly better than that of the lactulose group(P < 0.01).3.Secondary symptoms:the intra-group comparison are shown: all symptoms in the modified Sini Powder group were significantly improved after treatment compared with pretherapy(P<0.01);in the lactulose group,except for anxiety or depression and insomnia and dreaminess did not improve(P>0.05),the rest of symptoms were improved to some extent(P<0.05).The intergroup comparison showed that the therapeutic effect of the modified Sini Powder group was better than that of the lactulose group in all aspects(P<0.05),especially in aspects of abdominal distension,anxiety or depression,insomnia and dreaminess,and the modified Sini Powder group had more obvious advantages than the lactulose group(P < 0.01).4.Long-term efficacy: the recurrence rate of the modified Sini Powder group was 22.22%,and that of the lactulose group was 62.50%.The long-term efficacy of the modified Sini Powder group was significantly better than that of the lactulose group(P<0.01).5.Safety: both the two groups hadn’t appear side-effects during the study,so the medicines are safe and reliable.Conclusions: the comprehensive effect of the modified Sini Powder in the treatment of FC of young and middle-aged women with syndrome of liver qi stagnation is better than lactulose,especially in increasing the number of defecation,reduce defecation time,improve the symtoms of defecationdifficulty、dried stool、abdominal distension、anxiety or depression、insomnia and dreaminess,and has low recurrence rate,safe and reliable. |
