Analysis Of The Relation Between Post-stroke Insomnia And Pre-stroke Sleep Quality And Nerve Function Recovery | | Posted on:2020-08-17 | Degree:Master | Type:Thesis | | Country:China | Candidate:Q P Tian | Full Text:PDF | | GTID:2404330590965118 | Subject:Neurology | | Abstract/Summary: | PDF Full Text Request | | Part One The prevalence of post-stroke insomnia and analysis of the relation between post-stroke insomnia and pre-stroke sleep qualityObjective:To investigate the prevalence of post-stroke insomnia and to analyse correlation of post-stroke insomnia and pre-stroke sleep quality;Methods: 119 patients with cerebral infarction were included in the study.They were enrolled within 2 weeks from onset during April 2018 and August 2018 in inpatient departments.Sleep quality of pre-and post-stroke evaluated by Pittsburgh sleep quality index(PSQI)were collected.PSQI>5 was defined post-stroke insomnia.The prevalences of insomnia were investigated one month and six months after stroke.According to the PSQI score one month after stroke,119 patients were divided into insomnia group(PSQI>5)and non-insomnia group(PSQI<5).Multivariate logistic regression model were used to explore the independent risk factors for insomnia after stroke.Results: The prevalence of post-stroke insomnia in acute period was 55.5%,and the prevalence of post-stroke insomnia in recovery phase was 27.8%.Pre-stroke sleep quality was significantly relative to post-stroke insomnia(OR=1.405,95%CI1.196~1.650,P<0.05).Conclusion:The incidence of post-stroke insomnia was high.Post-stroke insomnia was correlation to pre-stroke sleep quality.Part two Analysis of the relation between the improvement of post-stroke insomnia and nerve function recoveryObjective:To analyse the relation between the improvement of post-stroke insomnia and nerve function recovery.Methods:PSQI and mRS were collected six months later among 62 patients who was collected into post-stroke insomnia group.The patients were divided into insomnia improvement group(△PSQI<-3)and noninsomnia improvement group(△PSQI≥-3)in order to research the relation between sleep improvement and nerve function recovery.Mann-Whitney U test was used to analyse mRS scores between the two groups.Results:There was not discrepancy in mRS between sleep improvement group and non-sleep improvement group.Conclusion:The improvement of post-stroke insomnia was not correlation to nerve function recovery... | | Keywords/Search Tags: | Insomnia, Stroke, Pre-stroke sleep quality, Nerve function recovery | PDF Full Text Request | Related items |
