Objective:Pulse Wave Velocity(PWV)is an indicator of the degree of hardening of a blood vessel.Arteriosclerosis is closely related to concentric cerebrovascular disease,so PWV is an important predictor of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.PWV can detect early arteriosclerosis and assess the risk of onset and death of cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases.Studies have pointed out that inflammatory reactions exist in the whole process of the occurrence and development of atherosclerosis, and play an important role in the occurrence and development of coronary heart disease. At the same time, inflammatory cells and inflammatory factors can reflect atherosclerosis to some extent.Process and extent. The neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR)as a representative indicator of inflammatory cells in the body has become a new biomarker for predicting coronary heart disease. At present, there are many studies on the relationship between PWV and biochemical indicators, and there are few studies on the relationship between PWV and inflammatory response, especially the relationship between PWV and NLR.At present, there is no specific conclusion on whether NLR changes have an interaction with PWV.This study investigated whether NLR is an independent risk factor for elevated PWV.Methods:The 500 physical examinations of the physical examination center of the Second Hospital of Hebei Medical University from 2016-08-03 to 2017-08-03 were selected. The PWV of the bilateral limbs was detected by arteriosclerosis tester, and the normal and elevated groups were classified according to the PWV values: blood routine, body mass index(BMI),systolic blood pressure(SBP),also measured diastolic blood pressure(DBP)and biochemical parameters.gender, age,BMI,SBP,When DBP and triglyceride(TG)were compared by t test, total cholesterol(TC),high-density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),fasting blood glucose(FBG),blood Uric acid(UA),white blood cells(WBC),neutrophils(N),lymphocyte(L),NLR differences,Pearson linear correlation analysis compared PWV with age,BMI,SBP,DBP,triglyceride(TG),total cholesterol(TC),high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C),fasting blood glucose(FBG),blood uric acid(UA),white blood cells(WBC),neutrophils(N),lymphocytes(L),NLR Multivariate logistic regression and multiple stepwise linear regression were used to analyze the factors affecting PWV.Results:The age,BMI,SBP,DBP,FBG,TG,TC,LDL-C,serum uric acid(UA),white blood cell(WBC),and neutrophil(NE)levels in the PWV-increased group were higher than those in the normal group(P<0.05);Pearson linear correlation analysis shows age,BMI,SBP,DBP,FBG,TG,TC,LDL-C,UA,WBC,NE and PWVwere significantly positively correlated(P<0.05);Logistic regression analysis showed that age,SBP,DBP,NE,LDL,FBG,and BMI were independent risk factors for PWV elevation(P<0.05);multiple stepwise linear regression analysis showed age,SBP,DBP,Increases in WBC,TC,LDL,FBG,and BMI were independent risk factors for elevated PWV(P<0.05),whereas NLR was not an independent risk factor for elevated PWV.Conclusion:1.Elevation of NLR is not an independent risk factor for elevated PWV.2.SBP,DBP,FBG are independent risk factors for elevated PWV. |
