| Objective: This topic through observing the clinical efficacy and safety of the elderly Longbi decoction combined with western medicine in the treatment of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type benign prostatic hyperplasia patients,in order to explore a way to treat benign prostatic hyperplasia with the characteristics of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine,and better apply it to the clinical front line,providing a more ideal choice for the treatment and medication of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients.Methods:From January 2016 to June 2018,a total of 60 patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia who met the western medicine diagnostic criteria and the traditional Chinese medicine syndrome differentiation criteria stipulated in this study were selected from the urology outpatient department and inpatient department of Jiangxi province integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine hospital.they were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group with 30 patients in each group.(1)The observation group was treated with traditional Chinese medicine decoction plus or minus Longbi decoction for the elderly combined with western medicine.The specific drugs and usage are as follows:1Elderly Longbi decoction :Radix Codonopsis 24 g,Radix Astragali 30 g,Rhizoma Dioscoreae Septemlobae 12 g,Poria 12 g,Fructus Evodiae 12 g,Semen Vaccariae 12 g,Semen Nelumbinis 20 g,Semen Plantaginis 15 g,Cortex Cinnamomi 6g,Semen Ginkgo 9g,and Glycyrrhrizae Radix 9g.Among them,Herba Lysimachiae Christinae is added for patients with painful urination.For hematuria,Rhizoma Imperatae and Radix Arnebiae are added.For patients with lumbago,Rhizoma corydalis and radix paeoniae are added.The administration method of traditional Chinese medicine: twice a day,one bag at a time,the liquid medicine should be heated and taken warm before administration for 12 weeks.(In this study,all patients' oral traditional Chinese medicine liquid were decocted by our hospital pharmacy,one dose was divided into two bags,250 ML each)2Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained-Release Capsule 0.2 mg/time,once/day for 12 weeks.(2)The control group was treated with only oral western medicine.The specific drugs and usage are as follows:Tamsulosin Hydrochloride Sustained-Release Capsule 0.2 mg/time,once/day for 12 weeks.Before treatment and after 12 weeks of treatment,the patients were assessed with International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),Quality of Life Score(QOL),Urodynamics Maximum Urine Flow Rate(Qmax),Residual Urine Volume,and TCM Symptom Score respectively,and relevant values were recorded.After 12 weeks of treatment,the International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS),Quality of Life Score(QOL),Urodynamics Maximum Urine Flow Rate(Qmax)of the two groups of patients were compared.The change degree of residual urine volume and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score and the difference between the two groups are improved.The general physical examination,electrocardiogram,blood routine,blood biochemistry,urine routine and other indicators are used as safety evaluation.The relevant data are statistically analyzed and adverse reactions are recorded at the same time.Results:1.before treatment,the comparison results of age,medical history time,international prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),urodynamic maximum urine flow rate(Qmax),residual urine volume and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score of the two groups of patients have no statistical significance(P>0.05),thus indicating that the two groups of objects are comparable.2.after treatment,the international prostate symptom score(IPSS)of the two groups of patients was improved compared with that before treatment.comparing the international prostate symptom score(IPSS)of the two groups of patients after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,suggesting that the observation group is superior to the control group in reducing the international prostate symptom of the patients.3.after treatment,the quality of life score(QOL)of the two groups of patients was improved compared with that before treatment.comparing the QOL of the two groups of patients after treatment,P<0.05,the difference was statistically significant,suggesting that the observation group is better than the control group in reducing the QOL of the patients.4.after treatment,the maximum urodynamic flow rate(Qmax)of the two groups of patients is improved compared with that before treatment.compared with the maximum urodynamic flow rate(Qmax)of the two groups of patients after treatment,P>0.05,the difference is not statistically significant.5.after treatment,the residual urine volume of the two groups of patients is improved compared with that before treatment.comparing the residual urine volume of the two groups of patients after treatment,P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant,suggesting that the observation group is superior to the control group in reducing the residual urine volume of the patients.6.after treatment,the TCM symptom score of the two groups of patients is improved compared with that before treatment.comparing the TCM symptom score of the two groups of patients after treatment,P<0.05,the difference is statistically significant,suggesting that the observation group is superior to the control group in reducing the TCM symptom score of the patients.7.serious adverse events did not appear in both groups of patients.Conclusion:The treatment of kidney deficiency and blood stasis benign prostatic hyperplasia with modified elderly Longbi decoction combined with western medicine is superior to the western medicine treatment group in terms of reducing the patients' international prostate symptom score(IPSS),quality of life score(QOL),residual urine volume and traditional Chinese medicine symptom score.It can obviously improve the clinical symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia patients and has good safety,which can be used for clinical treatment reference and popularization. |
