Objective:The purpose of the study is to build a teaching case library of the TCM ENT graduate course "Traditional Chinese Medicine for Otorhinolaryngology",so that teachers can use the case teaching method to organize teaching and strengthen the organic connection between theoretical teaching and clinical teaching;through the teaching of selected cases in the case library Use,explore an example of effective case teaching model;provide an evaluation system for teachers to objectively judge teaching,improve teaching methods,and optimize teaching methods through effective case teaching evaluation mechanism,and provide support for further introduction of case teaching for TCM ENT students.Methods:Using the literature method,the case preparation work was carried out on the basis of collecting a large number of medical records of ancient and modern famous doctors.Based on the case teaching model of Harvard University,combined with the characteristics of domestic teaching,designing the application program of the TCM ENT graduate case teaching,the applied cases are applied to teaching.The Master of Otorhinolaryngology of Traditional Chinese Medicine in Jiangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine was selected as the Classical Medical Book of Otorhinolaryngology.The case was introduced into the discussion,analysis and synthesis of classical medical materials by taking the case of nasal,pus,pharyngeal and aphthous as examples.In the middle,the scenes of the ancient doctors’ clinical thinking,diagnosis and treatment were reproduced.In the classroom teaching,an objective evaluation system is adopted to evaluate the effect of the case teaching.Result:1.After the discussion and revision of the subject group teachers,the preparation of 20 cases of "Traditional Chinese Medicine for Otorhinolaryngology" was completed.Most of the cases were selected from common diseases and frequently-occurring diseases in the clinic,including 5 ear diseases and 6 nasal diseases.There are 6 diseases in the throat and 3 diseases in the oral cavity.The teaching book of the "Collection of Classical Medical Books for Graduates of Traditional Chinese Medicine,Otorhinolaryngology" was written,and a practical and feasible TCM case study was established.2.A set of specific implementation methods suitable for the case teaching of the TCM Otorhinolaryngology Master’s Course "Traditional Chinese Medicine for Otorhinolaryngology" was established.3.In order to obtain the feedback information of the case teaching,the questionnaire survey was conducted,and the students gave objective and pertinent evaluations.The results showed that 82% of the students were familiar with the case teaching;93% of the students expressed satisfaction with the case teaching in this course;96% The students believe that taking case teaching is meaningful for the study of this course;through comparison of various teaching methods,61% of students are more inclined to case teaching.Conclusion:Our school trains the TCM ENT graduate course "Traditional Chinese Medicine for Otorhinolaryngology" is a comprehensive course that combines the academic thoughts and clinical experience of famous doctors.Through the specific practice of this subject,in recent years,our school has adopted case teaching in the postgraduate course "Traditional Chinese Medicine for Otorhinolaryngology",which will make the medical records in the ancient medical books that are too simple or difficult to understand,combined with clinical teaching to make them rich.Vitality not only enhances students’ learning of medical records,but also seeks knowledge independently,participates in class discussions,and fully mobilizes the thinking and innovation consciousness of TCM ENT graduate students.Through the establishment of the teaching case library of the postgraduate course "Traditional Chinese Medicine for Otorhinolaryngology",building a bridge between theory and clinical,communication channels,and taking case teaching will help enlighten the TCM clinical thinking and syndrome differentiation ability of TCM ENT students.Teaching quality and clinical level are important.The case teaching method has achieved good response in the teaching of TCM otolaryngology master students,which deserves further promotion and improvement.
