Netework Meta-analysis Of Chinese Herb Injection Combined With SOX Regimens For Advanced Gastric Cancer

Objective: To assess the clinical effects and safety of Chinese Herb Injection(CHI)Combined with tegafur,gimeracil and oteracil potassium plus oxaliplatin injection(SOX)regimen for advanced gastric cancer(GC).Methods: retrieval from PubMed,The Cochrane library,Web of Science,EMBASE,CBM,CNKI,VIP and Wan fang data,randomized controlled trials(RCTs)about CHI Combined with SOX Regimens VS.SOX Regimens for advanced GC were collected.EndNote X8 software was used to eliminate duplicate documents.Literature screening is conducted according to predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.Risk of bias was evaluated by using Rev Man 5.3 software and Cochrane Reviewer’s Handbook 5.1.0 were used to assess the quality of RCTs.Statistical analysis was performed by Stata 14.0.Results: A total of 20 articles were included,Involving 5 CHI and 1279 patients.The results of traditional meta-analysis showed that compared with SOX regimen,Aidi injection combined with SOX could improve the effective rate,disease control rate and reduce the incidence of leukopenia,thrombocytopenia,nausea and vomiting,diarrhea,abnormal liver function,peripheral neurotoxicity;Shenqifuzheng injection combined with SOX could improve the effective rate and reduce the incidence of leukopenia,thrombocytopenia,nausea and vomiting,peripheral neurotoxicity;Kangai injection combined with SOX could improve the effective rate,disease control rate and reduce the incidence of thrombocytopenia,nausea and vomiting;Kanglaite injection combined with SOX could improve the disease control rate and reduce the incidence of leukopenia,peripheral neurotoxicity;Xiao’aiping injection combined with SOX could improve the disease control rate and reduce the incidence of leukopenia,thrombocytopenia,nausea and vomiting;and the difference was statistically significant(p<0.05).The results of network meta-analysis showed that there were significant difference between Aidi injection+SOX or Shenqifuzheng injection+SOX or Kangai injection+SOX and SOX regimen in effective rate and abnormal liver function.there were significant difference between Aidi injection+SOX or Kangai injection+SOX or Kanglaite injection+SOX or Xiao’aiping injection+SOX and SOX regimen in disease control rate.there were significant difference between five CHI injections and SOX regimen in leukopenia.there were significant difference between Aidi injection+SOX or Shenqifuzheng injection+SOX or Kangai injection+SOX or Xiao’aiping injection+SOX and SOX regimen in thrombocytopenia,nausea and vomiting.there were significant difference between Aidi injection+SOX or Shenqifuzheng injection+SOX or Kanglaite injection+SOX and SOX regimen in diarrhea and peripheral neurotoxicity.Conclusion: CHI Combined with SOX Regimens for advanced GC can improve therapeutic efficacy and reduce the occurrence of adverse drug reaction,and kangai injection combined with SOX regimen is the best.
