Analysis Of Prognosis Of Adult Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia With FLT3 Mutation

Objective: The research aims to explore the relation of FMS-like Tyrosine Kinase 3(FLT3)gene mutation with peripheral blood tests of adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL)and analyse whether FLT3 gene mutation has an effect on the prognosis of adult ALL.Methods: The clinical data of 66 acute lymphoblastic leukemia adults(?18 years old)who were diagnosed according to MICM(Morphology,Immunology,Cytogenetics and Molecular Biology)at The First Hospital Of China Medical University from September2015 to December 2018 was retrospectively reviewed.All of 66 adult ALL patients complete ALL Next Generation Sequencing.Clinical data include white ball cell,hemoglobin,platelet,lactate dehydrogenase,bone marrow puncture,immunophenotyping,fusion gene,chromosomekaryotype analysis,gene mutation,the effect of the first induced chemotherapy,overall survival and disease free survival.We analyse data by SPSS20.0 and draw by Graphpad.Result: There are 33 patients out of 66 adult ALL patients with gene mutation.And 7 out of 33 patients are with FLT3 gene mutation,accounting for 21.21%.The remaining 59 patients are with FLT3 gene mutation negative.In 66 adult acute lymphoblastic leukemia patients,no statistically significant relationship was found between white ball cell,hemoglobin,platelet,lactate dehydrogenase and FLT3 mutation(P value 0.365,0.211,0.835,0.312,P>0.05).Meanwhile,there is no significant relationship in the effect of the first induced chemotherapy between ALL with FLT3 gene mutation and ALL without FLT3 gene mutation(P value 0.655,P>0.05).Up to January 2019,the median OS and DFS were 3.23(0.67-7.70)months and 3.10(0-5.33)months of adult ALL patients with FLT3 mutation positive.And the median OS and DFS were 8.67(0.03-26.00)months and5.43(0-25.00)months of adult ALL patients with FLT3 mutation negative.There is significant relationship FLT3 mutation with the median OS(P value 0.013,P<0.05)and DFS(P value 0.039,P<0.05).Conclusion: In adult ALL,FLT3 gene mutation has effect on long-term survival.
