The Impact Of Medical Infrastructure On Economic Growth

In recent years,the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional economic development is rapid,infrastructure as the material basis of the people's livelihood,is a prerequisite for the development of other industries and necessary conditions,on the economic growth has a direct role in promoting.Medical infrastructure as an important construction area of infrastructure,has played an important role unmatched by other infrastructures in the process of social modernization.Sustained and stable economic growth requires an effective medical infrastructure as a support and protection,medical infrastructure and economic development,social harmony is closely related,many studies show that medical infrastructure can significantly promote regional economic growth.This paper first analyzes the theory of investment multiplier theory,development economics theory,endogenous growth theory and spillover effect theory on the economic growth impact on infrastructures,which lays the theoretical foundation for the following analysis.In the third part of this paper,the development of medical infrastructures in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the trend of medical infrastructures and economic growth in this region are expounded,found that the development trend of medical infrastructures in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region is similar to that of economic growth,and conclude that there is a link between medical infrastructures and economic growth.Based on the above,the hypothesis of medical infrastructure to promote economic growth is put forward,select the indicator variable,establish a fixed effect model,and uses the panel data of Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region from 1980 to 2014 to study the relationship between medical infrastructure and economic growth,the results show that the medical infrastructures in Beijing,Tianjin and Hebei have a significant effect on economic growth.Finally,according to the current situation of medical infrastructure and economic growth in Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region and the conclusion of this paper,the government should increase investment in medical infrastructure and establish diversified financing channels,determine the reasonable medical infrastructure scale,improve the efficiency of medical infrastructure and a series of measures,strengthen medical infrastructure construction,and then play a better medical infrastructure to promote economic growth.
