| The original meaning of "Nudge" in behavioral economics is "pushing with elbows to attract someone’s attention",such as the huge sign of "safe driving" on the highway,it can form "non-mandatory" attention to remind drivers to drive safely.Mild,non-mandatory“reminders” tend to work better than mandatory, traditional mechanisms. From this theory, the paper proposes the question of research: whether the existence of medical points around residential areas can also form a healthy “reminder” role, whether it will affect the residents’ healthy behavior and its impact path. The dependent variable of this study is the health behavior of residents, and the independent variable is the accessibility of medical services. The dependent variable is the sum performance score of whether the residents“have exercised”,“whether they have physical examination in the past two years”,“whether they don’t smoke”,“whether they drink less than twice a month”and“whether the sleep time is reasonable”.The measurement of independent variables is the time of medical treatment, the medical treatment transportation fee and the level of medical institutions. The medical treatment time and medical treatment transportation fee can reflect the distance from the medical institution, that is,whether it can form a healthy reminder, and the different levels of medical institutions can reflect the strength of the boosting effect. In addition, gender, age, region, education, marital status, work, medical insurance, chronic disease and other control variables were added to analyze the residents’ health behavior. In this paper,CHARLS 2015 data was selected. In empirical analysis part, ologit model was used to analyze the impact of medical service accessibility on residents’ health behavior. Then devide the sample into two groups to do regression analysis, the groups are middle-aged samples and old-age samples, outpatient samples and hospitalized samples. Finally, analyze the differences in regression from the different parts of healthy behavior.Through theoretical analysis and empirical analysis, the following conclusions were summarized: medical treatment time has a negative impact on residents’ health behaviors, and medical treatment transportation expenses only affect the health behavior of hospitalized patients. The shorter the medical treatment time, the closer it is to the medical point to a certain extent, the presence of nearby medical institutions can form a health boosting effect, and the residents’ health behavior is better. The level of medical institutions is generally positively positive for health behaviors. The higher the level of medical institutions, the better the health performance of residents, and the nudging effect of higher-level medical institutions is more obvious. At the same time, the control variables also have an impact on residents’ health behaviors: in terms of age, older people’s healthy behaviors are better;in terms of gender, women do better in health behaviors;in terms of education level, residents with higher education perform better in health behaviors. Therefore, the existence of the hospital does not force interference with the residents’ personal choices. It does not force residents to exercise, participate in physical examinations on time, quit smoking and limit alcohol, and ensure reasonable sleep time.Instead,it will form a mild reminder effect, which can affect whether residents carry out healthy behaviors and can maintain the freedom to choice.Based on the above research, the suggestion were thrown out:from the perspective of medical service utilization,it is necessary to strengthen the service quality of basic medical institutions and improve the service supply capacity of primary medical institutions;from an individual perspective, residents should enhance their health awareness and improve unhealthy living habits, they also should have physical examinations in time.In addition, the accessibility of medical services in rural areas should be improved. |
