Objective:To investigate the treatment of patients with IBD during hospitalization,Patients were followed up for treatment status, compliance, recurrence rate and recurrence causes after discharge. To understand the treatment status of IBD patients in our hospital during and after hospitalization,to analyze and discuss the treatment compliance rate, recurrence rate and recurrence causes of IBD patients.Methods:1.Clinical data of 344 IBD patients hospitalized in General Hospital of Ningxia Medical University from January 2010 to September 2018 were collected.Results.2.Clinical data including name, gender, age, course of illness, length of stay, number of stays, contact information, treatment drugs and methods of IBD patients who meet inclusion criteria were collected and recorded.3.Call the IBD patients who meet the inclusion criteria, and ask them about their treatment status, whether they take medicine regularly, whether they review regularly, whether they relapse, and why they relapse, and record the clinical data.4.SPSS22.0 statistical software was used for statistical processing. The measurement data were expressed as mean standard deviation. The measurement data between groups were compared by t test for normal distribution and rank sum test for skewness distribution. The counting data were described by sample and percentage, and the counting data between groups were compared by chi-square test. The statistical analysis level was=0.05,and P<0.05was considered as difference.Results:1.From January 2010 to September 2018,there were 344 cases of IBD patients meeting the inclusion criteria, including 293 cases of UC patients,147 cases of male,146 cases of female, the ratio of male to female was 1.01:1,the average age was 48.90±15.03 years old, mainly distributed in 40-59 years old;Among the 51 patients with CD,there were 32males,19 females, the ratio of male to female was 1.7:1,and the average age was 40.39±17.48 years old, mainly distributed between 20-29 and 50-59 years old.2.293 patients with UC were treated with mesalazine 88.1%,hormone 14.3%,immunosuppressant 0.6%,biological agent 0.6%,fecal bacteria transplantation 1.7%,surgery4.0%,combined local enema treatment 51.9%,among which 4.0%were not treated.51 CD patients were treated with mesalazine 60.7%,hormone 11.7%,immunosuppressant 1.9%,biologic agent 11.7%,fecal bacteria transplantation 1.9%,surgery 31.3%,and combined local enema 1.9%when hospitalized, among which 3.9%were not treated. The probability of using mesalazine and combined enema in UC patients was higher than that in CD patients(P<0.05),and the probability of using biologic agent and operation in CD patients was higher than that in UC patients(P<0.05).3.293 UC patients were followed up,31 were lost and 12 died. There were 51 cases of CD patients,10 cases of lost follow-up and 4 cases of death, most of which were caused by tumor, infection and perforation.4.After eliminating the number of lost visits and deaths, more than 250 UC patients were treated with mesalazine(60.8%),hormone(1.6%),biologic agent(1.6%),fecal bacteria transplantation(1.2%),traditional Chinese medicine(20%),and surgery(1.2%).No immunosuppressant was used, among which 17.6%were untreated.Among the 37 patients with CD,45.9%of them were treated with mesalazine,16.2%with biologics,5.4%with traditional Chinese medicine, and 24.3%with surgery. No one was treated with hormone, immunosuppressant or fecal bacteria transplantation, and 2.7%of them were not treated. The utilization rate of biologic and surgery rate in group CD was higher than that in group UC(P<0.05).5.The compliance rate of 250 UC patients was 24.0%.Among the 37 patients with CD,the compliance rate was 29.7%.6.There were 287 cases of IBD,including 135 cases of recurrence. The main reasons for recurrence were stimulated diet 42.2%and irregular medication 20.0%.7.There was no significant difference in the compliance and recurrence rate of IBD patients(χ~2=1.591,P>0.05).Conclusion:There is no difference in the composition of male and female IBD patients in our hospital, and the main patients are young adults.Among the patients with UC and CD,the use rate of mesalazine was the highest, among which the use rate of biologics and surgery in CD patients was significantly higher than that in UC,while the use rate of hormone and immunosuppressant was lower.IBD patients in our hospital have a low compliance rate and a high recurrence rate. The main reasons for recurrence are stimulation of diet and irregular medication.
