the prevention and treatment of child neglect in rural areas of Xinjiang in the future. Methods: Stratified random cluster sampling was performed to select 1326 children aged 3~6 years in rural Urumqi. The “Chinese Rural Child Aged 3~6Years Neglect Evaluation Norm”were used in this study. Results: 1.The total neglect rate of rural children was51.89%,and safety neglect rate was the highest(27.98%)and body neglect degree was the highest(53.05±12.65)among children aged 3~6 in rural areas of Urumqi.2.The total neglect rate and the body neglect rate of rural left-behind children in Urumqi were higher than that of un-left-behind children, with statistically significant differences(P<0.01).In addition to safety, medical treatment and social neglect, the scores of the total degree of neglect and other levels of neglect of left-behind children were higher than that of un-left-behind children, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).3.Results show that the single factor analysis:(1)Individual factors of children:the total neglect rate and the total neglect degree of the children in the 3~year group were all higher than those in the 4~year group, the 5~year group and the 6~<7year group(P<0.01).(2)Parents factors : Different cultural degree of children's parents always ignore rate, always ignore the comparative differences are statistically significant(P<0.05).(3)Family factors: there were statistically significant differences in the total neglect rate of children from different family types,as well as in the rates of safety and social neglect(P<0.05).The scores of the total neglect of children from single-parent families and remarried families and the neglect of children from emotional, educational, safety, medical and social levels were higher than those of nuclear families and three-generation families(P<0.05).There were statistically significant differences in the total neglect rate, total neglect degree and the neglect rate and degree at six levels among children with goodfamily function, moderate disorder and severe disorder(P<0.01),among which the total neglect rate, total neglect degree and the neglect rate and degree at six levels were the highest among children with severe family function disorder(P<0.05).(4)Nursing status and psychological state of caregivers:the total neglect rate and the neglect rates of physical, emotional, safety and medical aspects of children in the non-parental care group were higher than those in the parental care group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The scores of the total degree of neglect and the six levels of neglect in the non-parental care group were higher than those in the parental care group, with statistically significant differences(P<0.05).The total neglect rate of children and the neglect rate of physical, emotional, safety and medical treatment were significantly different in the following four aspects(P<0.05).The total degree of neglect and the degree of neglect in six aspects were the highest among the children who were mainly reprimanded, beaten and scolded.Anxiety depression group caregivers to take care of the children's total neglect rate and total neglect degree were higher than without anxiety, depression, caregivers group, the difference was statistically significant(P<0.05).4.Binary classification, according to the results of Logistic regression analysis of young children, not only children, parents, mother go out to work, lower cultural degree grandfathers or guardianship, single parent families and remarried families and low-income families, beat and scold scold, family education way severe disorder, anxiety caregivers, depression caregivers,left-behind children are children always ignore the level of risk factors.5.The results of multiple linear regression analysis showed that children's age, only or non-only children, family function, mother's occupation, mother's education level, father's education level, father's occupation, education mode, family monthly income, family member relationship, caregiver custody type, caregiver anxiety state, and whether children were left behind were the factors that affected child neglect. Conclusion:The neglect rate of children aged 3~6 in rural areas of Urumqi is relatively high and the degree of neglect is serious.Compared with other children of the same age in rural areas of China, the neglect of children in this area is relatively serious. The relevant departments should pay more attention to rural children who are young and left-behind,strengthen the publicity and education of rural parents' parenting knowledge, improve parents' cultural quality, attach importance to the importance of family function and caregiver psychology in the prevention of child
