Clinical Observation On The Treatment Of Lateral Femoral Cutaneous Neuritis With Acupotomy And Acupuncture

Objective:This subject intends to observe the clinical effect of acupotomy combined with acupuncture in the treatment of lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis,and evaluate the difference in efficacy against conventional acupuncture treatment,to provide a new treatment idea for the disease and necessary objective basis for promotion and application.Methods:In August 2018 to January 2020,46 patients recruited from the Shanxi Acupuncture Institute,the Second Acupuncture Department of the Affiliated Hospital of Shanxi University of TCM,Shanxi Hospital of Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine and the internet were randomly divided into two groups,23 cases in each group.The treatment group was treated with acupotomy and acupuncture,once every2 days,and a course of 2 weeks.The control group was treated with acupuncture,once every 2 days,and a course of 2 weeks.Both groups were treated for 2 courses,with a rest day between the courses.Record the changes in the area of the lesion area,the pain VAS score,the numbness VAS score,and the change in sensory nerve conduction velocity in the two groups of patients,and analyze the recorded data statistically,so as to comprehensively evaluate the treatment of the lateral femur with acupotomy and acupuncture.Results:1.The changes of the lesion area,pain VAS,numbness VAS,and sensory nerve conduction velocity of two groups before and after treatment were compared.The differences were statistically significant,indicating the observation indicators after treatment in the two groups were better.The indicators of the two group after treatment were compared.The differences were statistically significant,indicating that the improvement of indicators of the acupotomy and acupuncture group was significantly better than the acupuncture group.2.Effect analysis of treatment group and control group,3 cases were cured,13 cases were markedly effective,6 cases were effective,and 1 case was ineffective.The total effective rate was 95.65%.In the control group,1 case was cured,9 cases were markedly effective,9 cases were effective,and 4 cases were ineffective.The total effective rate was 82.61%.Through statistical analysis,the treatment regimens of thetwo groups are effective for lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis.By comparing the total effective rate between the two groups,the difference is statistically significant,indicating that the acupotomy and acupuncture group has more advantages than the acupuncture group.Conclusion:1.The use of acupotomy combined with acupuncture and simple acupuncture has achieved good clinical results in the treatment of lateral femoral cutaneous neuritis.The treatment regimens of the two groups have effects on improving indicators of patients.2.The clinical effect of acupotomy combined with acupuncture on the disease is more obvious than that of acupuncture,which can better improve the patient’s symptoms,which is worthy of clinical reference and application.
