| Objective: This study first analyzed the overall clinical manifestations of refractory external humeral epicondylitis, and designed an improved acupotomy method of “treating both neck and elbow”according to the occurrence and development of the disease. Then observed and compared whether the overall curative effect of the improved acupotomy method based on the theory of “treating both neck and elbow”is different from that of the conventional acupotomy method,to compare the treatment effect of two methods whether there is a difference and explore “treating both neck and elbow” clinical efficiency. The purpose of this study was to investigate whether the improved acupotomology method of“treating both neck and elbow”of obstinate tennis elbow has clinical synergetic effect,so as to improve the traditional acupotomy method and obtain better curative effect. Methods: At first,forty-seven patients with refractory external humeral epicondylitis who met the standard were divided into experimental group and control group by random number table method in accordance with 1:1 ratio. Then, the control group was released using the conventional acupotomy for the local elbow joint. For the release of the experimental group, the improved needle-cutting technique based on “treating both neck and elbow”was adopted. There were a total of 5 release points, that is,2 points of release of the 5th and 6th cervical spine spines were added on the basis of conventional acupotomy. Both groups were only treated once.At last, two cases were lost, and a total of 45 cases completed the treatment. Then, the efficacy of the two groups was comprehensively evaluated before and after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment, and the evaluation criteria were visual analogue scale(VAS),microcirculation index(MI),grip strength index and clinical efficacy. Finally, all the data were recorded and the data of the two groups were statistically analyzed and processed by SPSS22.0 statistical software.Results:1.The comparison of VAS scores before and after treatment was statistically significant between the two groups(P< 0.01).VAS scores in both groups after treatment were lower than those before treatment, and VAS scores at 4 weeks after treatment were lower than those immediately after treatment, both in the experimental group;2.There were statistically significant differences in MI between the two groups before and after treatment(P<0.01).MI in both groups was higher immediately after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment than before treatment. The mean MI of the experimental group was higher than that of the control group immediately after treatment and 4 weeks after treatment;3.There were statistically significant differences in grip strength between the two groups at 4 weeks after treatment and before treatment(P<0.01),and the treatment effect of the experimental group was significantly higher than that of the control group;4.By rank-sum test, there was a statistically significant difference in the curative effect between the two groups after treatment(P<0.05),and the effective rate in the experimental group was 82.61%,significantly higher than the 63.64% in the control group(P<0.05).Conclusion:1.Acupotomology can effectively treat refractory tennis elbow. In this experiment, the therapeutic effect of acupotomy is shown in its effective relief of pain, improvement of elbow microcirculation, improvement of grip strength and improvement of clinical efficacy, which provides a reference for the promotion of clinical application of acupotomy in the treatment of refractory tennis elbow.2.The improved acupotomy method based on “treating both neck and elbow”has more obvious short-term and long-term effects on the patient, and has more significant clinical efficacy. So the overall efficacy of the improved method for the treatment of this disease is more effective than the conventional method. This shows that neck soft tissue injury can indeed affect the occurrence and development of the disease, which also provides a reference for the clinical promotion and application of the improved acupotomy method used in this experiment.3.The results of this study can be used as a reference for spinal connection between limbs. This provides a new therapeutic approach for acupotomology in the treatment of soft tissue injury in limbs, which also extends the use scope of acupotomology. |
